Kate needed to put in her daily appearance for the paps/PR but it’s too bad she’s including children who don’t want to be a part of it. A form of child abuse? I think so. Emotional abuse, definitely.

But, Kate’s been trying to prove a point since the season 5 opening show — that she’s really a hands on parent who does things with her kids - thus the reason for the extended vacation of forced interaction between her and the kids, her ‘play’ with them yesterday, taking them with her on errands that her assistants usually run, etc.

It’s all to rebuild her image. But, unfortunately for Kate, it’s too late. She destroyed it long ago and the damage is too deep to repair. She’s laughable and whoever is giving her advice is even worse.

Why was Kate okay all week to run errands with her kids without an escort but today decided she needed protection? She’s only kidding herself that she’s important cause we all know she’s not and certainly doesn’t need a bodyguard in her tiny little town. The worst that can happen is someone will approach her to say hello and try to be nice to her. OOPS, I forgot, Kate won’t let anyone approach her or talk to her — those are the rules! What a sad excuse for a parent and also a human being.

To the dolt who is too dumb to figure things out on her own. NO the Duggars aren’t exploiting their kids. The Duggars have their own income they bring in. THey’re not using their kids as stepping stools to further their own careers and personal gain in the entertainment industry like Kate Gosselin. Those kids aren’t taped in the bathtub or toilet or getting dressed intheir underwears. They aren’t paraded all over town, they aren’t plastered on US Weekly or the Enquirer and their parents marriage isn’t in shambles. The DUggars I think signed on for 7 episodes this season? I think that’s a far cry from the 40+ the Greedy Gosselins did. The gosslin kids WORK. The Gosslin kids have worked from the beginning. The DUggars have a normal childhood in a normal home and couldn’t be accused of being fake or phony or just in it for the money either. There is no comparison. The Duggars could pack it in tomorrow and those kids will be okay because they have levelheaded parents. The Gosselin kids are screwwed up for life. You can’t have parents like jon and kate and actually be okay in life. they are driven by money and at all costs will get the money they desire in life, their kids are just a commodity.

you couldn’t be more right re: the exploitation. it sickens me what is going on with these kids. theyre a screwed up mess already, can you imagine in another 5-10 years?? i’ll be so glad when this show is off the air and the parents are forced to stop living off their children!
