Angelina Jolie - World Refugee Day PSA
For this year’s World Refugee Day on June 20th, Angelina Jolie recorded a public service announcement (PSA) to draw attention to the plight of the millions of people who have been forced to flee their homes because of war or persecution.
The 34-year-old UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador actress says in the PSA, “Please don’t turn away. Refugees are the most vulnerable people on earth. Every day, they are fighting to survive. They deserve our respect. Please do not forget them. Remember them on this day. World Refugee Day.”

Charities does not show how good and great a person is. Its about morals and values and one’s personal faith and relationship with Jesus. Its accepting him as Savior and asking for repentance.
Faith and works should go together.
Charities dont get one’s soul to heaven.

Other celebrities who are doing things for charities are not ambassadors for the UN, you silly moo. Whereas Angelina whether she likes it or not as a UN ambassador has to be in the media for the UN’s sake. This way she could give more credence to the plight of unfortunate people. How could you let people know that there needy if no one would inform them. As a matter of fact, if Angelina didn’t tell us we would never have a clue of what’s going on. The politicians would not tell you or me. But since Angelina is not a politician she could inform everyone because she is not afraid that she won’t be re-elected if she talks too much. And you have the nerve to criticize Angelina who has done so much? What about you did you contribute a penny or even a grain of rice which these people who are hungry need most? If you don’t like Angelina then get out of this thread because no one wants you here.

Please clarify what you’re trying to post. Your sentence is gramatically confusing. “I cant love this woman anymore” means that you don’t love her. Just like saying “I don’t love you anymore”. Meaning you stop loving that person. So please make it clear. Thanks

Why, oh, why do I continue to be amazed at the stupidity of trolls? Since when is a PSA “drawing attention to herself”? Celebs do PSA’s all the time…but only Angie is “drawing attention to herself” instead of the cause she’s speaking out on behalf of? Remember this the next time you see a celeb PSA - it’s all about THEM. Forget about getting young people to vote…that’s all about the rock star. Forget all about building houses for the poor. That’s all about an ex-Prez looking for a little love from someone other than the Nobel Peace Prize committee…

I hate it when people bring up Ethan Hawke cheating on Uma Thurman. I like Uma, but she’s a case of “What goes around comes around”. Uma is a serial relationship-breaker upper just like Laura Dern. When she was fairly young - 20-ish - she cheated with Gary Oldman and ultimately was name co-respondent in his wife’s divorce papers. Olman and his wife had a kid. He later married up…and cheated on her with someone else, but that’s beside the point. LOL. Uma ain’t exactly the shining light of wronged women. That’s like when the trolls bring up Laura Dern and BBT. Neither one of them has reason to be used as examples of wronged women…
I was a refugee. thanks to this country i am now an american. i don’t care what any one say about this country. its the best. i am very happy that angie is raising awareness on these people who are not as fortunate as i am. that’s why i am her fan. thanks angie.

The reason why Brad should not be mentioned is because Brad is not the ambassador. Although he is the partner of Angelina, Brad would look like he is coattailing Angelina’s popularity. In other words they are two individuals and it does not mean that when Angelina gets credits it’s automatically credited to Brad too. What I mean is give credit to where credit is due. Just like when you do something that needs to be appreciated we would not mention your husband/wife for that credit. Get my point? This explanation does not mean that I don’t like Brad although I must admit that before she got hook with Angie I was not his fan. It’s only after he hooked up with Angie that I began to appreciate him especially when he involved himself with the less privilege people. Even with this effort I would give credit to Angelina because she’s influential in making Brad get awareness of the under privilege.

ROTFLMAO. Well…I was going to do part of my tabloid report on the L&S story…but this video pretty much sums it up. I need to join YouTube just so I can post a comment asking the video maker to go back and put the dates on all the photos. That really underscores how much Fox is stealing from Angie and stalking smack by blaming all the comparisons on the media.
