OlderGerard Butler is Brooklyn Buff
Gerard Butler puts his hands up on his hips (because when he dips, you dip, we dip) as he shoots his new movie, Bounty Hunter, in Brooklyn, New York City on Monday morning (June 15).
The 39-year-old Scottish stud saw The Hangover earlier this month and told NYMag:“I’ve got to tell you, it was kind of crazy, but a lot of the stuff that happened in that movie I’ve been through myself. That sounds like a huge exaggeration, but it’s really not.”
He also explained he’s never been to a bachelor party that was not bacchanalian: “They just don’t want to face it. But if they were honest with themselves, they’d go, ‘Oh, you know what? They were f—ing chickens.’ That’s why the chicken was in the movie, by the way. They couldn’t go that far, but I have no doubt they were f—ing chickens. (pauses) My career just went down the tubes, eh?”

OF COURSE he’s much more fun to dice and slice!Who else shows up on TMZ as often , and has their own theme song to boot. He’s entertaining and funny as h*ll.Just count the number of threads on JJ.!
He made a conscious decision to become a celebrity . That gives me, and others, the right to criticize and dissect every move he makes.When,or if, he becomes a serious actor then we’ll back off. For now, he’s a fun diversion. And one is sufficient for me.

Of course he has been botox! I think he made a conscience decision to become a celebrity and not an actor. I think he knew the bennies that came with being a celebrity. He seems to crave attention all the time!

On a Jay Leno show, Gerry said “remember the face.” Well despite all of your negative comments, you all are seeming “to remember the face!” quite well, and you will be seeing it for a long time to come. Great guy, great actor. Obviously you have not seen all of his films!

I was reading the latest comments backwards from the bottom, (not to waste time on stuff I already read) saw your comment before your handle and thought, “I just know that’s SL!” You are without doubt one of the funniest, sharpest and smartest posters on these sites.
As I have learned from sporadic posting, if you comment on GB even skeptically or critically if not really negatively or hatefully, and aren’t madly in love with and worshipping of the Sex God, you must be a) jealous because he rejected or snubbed you somewhere along, b) a lesbian, yep, I got that one too, c) a bitter fat old crone who knows you can’t get him, or d) crazy and off your meds, as a self-appointed guidance counselor suggested re my previous post here. When all else fails, the worshippers resort to, aw, he is just a human being and a nice guy with flaws, leave him alone to let him live his life as he chooses. Do they?
Is organizing tours to his film sets leaving him alone to live his life?
I agree with you, the guy seems addicted to attention, and he’s landed in the right environment to feed that need. Why are we folks here? This is not the kind of site I usually visit, believe it or not.
But there is something about watching someone dancing incessantly on the ledge. Will he finally jump and crash? Will he be saved? Stay tuned, folks!

Isn’t it strange that this ‘B-list’ actor {as some describe him} draws so much interest on this and other boards? And, he gets ‘Most attractive male’ in Hello magazine for April? That poll is voted on by the public and kicked off a frenzy which had more votes than usual cast for that specific poll. Splain that one, Lucy! (If he’s such a loser in your eyes.) And don’t say Gals did it. There are not enough of them in numbers to impact an entire world-wide poll. Whatever it is, GB is definitely a hot commodity right now.
And remember, you naysayers, your posts are counting just as much toward his popularity as those of us who support him.

PFAN - Hello Magazine is a British tabloid that most don’t even know exist. GALS and other fansites had a full on assault on this poll. They had people voting every 10 min (or whatever the time limit was on the poll) around the clock. They kept track of where he was and talked about it incessantly. There were people who said that they had logged on and voted all day throughout the day. How pathetic is that? They were probably on the job while doing it. So don’t talk about things that you don’t know. How do I know this? I read it on GALS. I have been a member for years and have seen how crazy some of these fans are. I have since stopped posting there and now only go there occasionally for news. I am a fan — but not an obsessed one. You should try it. You might find yourself a life.
