OlderHeidi Montag to Al Roker: You Suck!
Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt were put on the hot seat Monday morning when Today Show anchor Al Roker was relentless in his line of questioning. (He basically asked the couple 10x if their “real-life personalities” are all an act.)
“I was shocked at how rude he was - I was crying afterwards because I couldn’t believe I felt personally attacked,” Heidi told Ryan Seacrest. “I wanted to say to him, do you feel proud of how you’re talking to me right now? I’m just a young woman and you’re coming at me so aggressively and meanly [sic] and mean-spirited.”
Added Heidi, “I just wanted to talk about the show and my experience there and how fun it was, and he just made it a very uncomfortable and awful experience. I really would advise women especially to be careful around him because I feel like he definitely came and attacked me and I did not appreciate that at all.”

#22. I think Al wanted an answer and felt that he wasn’t getting a truthful one. These two really need to just go away. The ‘fake’ that is Spencer just sat there and did nothing. This from a guy who says you can mess with me but not Heidi. Where were his b***s then? He’s so big and bad when HE’S attacking women — like Heidi’s Mother — but when it comes to a man, he’s lame as lame can be.

I could not help laughing when I saw the interview. They live in this world of ‘fantasy’ and really think that an experienced journalist isn’t going to call them on their make believe lives. It quite funny watching her face expressions during this interview bit. I can now go to bed with a smile on my face that these two gits were made to look rediculous on TV.

Even though I highly dislike Heidi and Spencer, I agree that Al Roker was unprofessional and aggressive. Imagine if all interviewers acted like that with other people they disagreed or disliked? Out of line. There are ways and manners in which you ask the “legitimate questions,” Roker was just rude and abrasive.

No, you are not supposed to just be neutral and let the interviewee direct the tone. The interviewer is supposed to take control and sometimes the interviewee is asked what he/she doesn’t want to answer so you ask again, and get tough, and find a way to get them to answer properly.
There are not enough people on TV these days actually doing interviews. Instead there are people following what the PR person says to do, and it’s all run by the interviewee. That’s not how it’s supposed to work, and if you need to be “attacked” to answer normal questions that anyone would want to know about you, then instead of complaining, you need to learn how to answer, or don’t do interviews.
@LolaSvelt: Actually it was Jeremy Clarkson who said that. What he said was that she looked like a boiled horse! Which I suppose is worse.
The reason why these two jokes consider themselves celebrities is symptomtic of today’s television shows and the intelligence of those who watch them. It seems that, these days, you don’t need intelligence, talent, looks or skill to be seen as a celebrity. You just need an audience! And these puppets will do anything, and I mean anything, to make sure that their fives minutes of fame is eked out for as long as possible.
Al Roker’s performance was a joy to watch simply because neither of these two idiots deserve to be treated with any respect at all.
It’s about time they got their asses handed to them.

I am not a fan.. but I saw the segment and she is telling the truth. If you don’t respect them then don’t invite them on the show. Al was unprofessional. If he thought he was too good interview Spencer and Heidi then don’t.. They get attention because the media and magazine can’t keep them out of their stories.

These two are silly *******. If they call that agressive, then how was Spencer being when he smacked a water bottle out of Frances’ hand? They are talentless morons who are simply famous for being rude and stupid. PRATT is the perfect name for them both. They use their faith as an excuse for their behaviour, and in turn make a mockery out of it.
