Jennifer Aniston poked fun at her love life on Friday when she accepted the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film.
Host Chelsea Handler presented the award to Jen and first made this funny: “You have increased the visibility of women in film, and we thank you for that. You’ve recently decreased the visibility of John Mayer, so we thank you for that.”
Aniston then joked, “I’m trying to be more careful than I have been in the past about the titles of movies that I choose to be in. It’s funny – I kind of noticed something a couple years ago that there seemed to be this strange parallel to the movies I was doing and my life off screen.”
“It started with, well, The Good Girl,” she explained. “Then that evolved into Rumor Has It, followed by Derailed, and then there was The Break-Up. And then on the lighter side was Friends with Money, which I felt was a bit on the nose. So if any of you have a project titled Everlasting Love with an Adult, Stable Male… that would be great! I’m at table six, and my agents are at table 12.”

what is wrong with you people? i think she is beautiful, talented, and gets the joke. she can not help that the tabloids are obsessed with her personal life. she doesnt go out and get drunk at clubs, she doesnt shop on robertson waiting for the cameras to find her, she lives a relatively simple life with her friends (including courteney cox). She chose the men in her life, she has no one else to blame if they were unsuitable for her. The men who are serious don’t want her, the one’s that are like her only have time for themselves. So I’m not sure who in Hollywood would be suitable for her. I don’t see her dating anyone who is OUTSIDE of Hollywood. I’d be damn surprised if she developed a SERIOUS relationship in the next 5-10 years. She seems to think the problems have been with the men, might explain why she’s still in therapy. Until you take responsibility for your OWN life, you can’t expect to have fulfilling relationships.
I wish her well, but if she hasn’t gotten REAL with herself after over 20 years of therapy, I just don’t see it happening. She also might think about NOT having her agent as a middle man for securing dates for her. Dating sometimes is about being rejected. I guess having her agent as a third man, she doesn’t have to suffer the rejection personally. I know it’s hard for some to believe, but not every single man in Hollywood wants Jennifer Aniston. If you think they’re not thinking what some people are saying in blogs about her, you have your head in the sand.
