OlderJennifer Aniston Talks Love Life
Jennifer Aniston poked fun at her love life on Friday when she accepted the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film.
Host Chelsea Handler presented the award to Jen and first made this funny: “You have increased the visibility of women in film, and we thank you for that. You’ve recently decreased the visibility of John Mayer, so we thank you for that.”
Aniston then joked, “I’m trying to be more careful than I have been in the past about the titles of movies that I choose to be in. It’s funny – I kind of noticed something a couple years ago that there seemed to be this strange parallel to the movies I was doing and my life off screen.”
“It started with, well, The Good Girl,” she explained. “Then that evolved into Rumor Has It, followed by Derailed, and then there was The Break-Up. And then on the lighter side was Friends with Money, which I felt was a bit on the nose. So if any of you have a project titled Everlasting Love with an Adult, Stable Male… that would be great! I’m at table six, and my agents are at table 12.”

Did you read what you wrote? Or rather, did you think before posting, especially the last three phrases? Aniston isn’t the only person to have ever been dumped–this you got right. So why are you so mad that you call the other woman deranged?
BB also said repeatedly that he loves Jolie, regret losing her (which by the way are the fervent hopes of Aniston’s fans with names like “bradsfullofregrets”). The exes saying they love each other is simply showing mutual respect, maturity and in many cases the fact that they love each other but are aware that they could not be married successfully.
If you derided Jolie for expressing love to the ex that “dumped” her, will you do the same about Aniston saying she’ll always love Pitt?
So Aniston is a good girl to you, and her, clearly in her joking. Well, this good girl has surpassed Jolie’s “weirdness” in my opinion. At 39 she decided to have a public orgy (in case you think I can’t distinguish between a print campaign and real life/girl, do remember that what you deem weirdness of Jolie is also print campaign she did in her early 20’s; in fact all her “weirdness” was done in her early 20’s). Aniston should joke/request the script named “Orgy of a middle aged serial dumpee”
If to be a deranged woman means one can turn her life around all by herself, generously help so many with her income, mingle with ex presidents and secretaries of state and the likes and talked about respectfully and admiringly by them, adopt children and care and love them, be considered most powerful woman, I would rather be a deranged woman.

Jen is pregnant look at her breasts ,so I guess she can add “The Baster” to her list of movie that parallells her life.I never hear Uma , Reese, Kate W.(all divorced) joking about their exes or their love life. Very interesting.
I’m sorry, but I must have been asleep when she ‘increased the visibility of women in film”. Just how did she do that? People make the silliest comments and then don’t explain them.
If she wants a relationship with an adult,stable MAN, she has to be an adult stable WOMAN. I’m not sure anyone wants to take on her history and her never ending psychiatric sessions. Once you put it out there that you’ve been in therapy for over 20 years, most serious men aren’t going to step into that black hole.
She chose the men in her life, she has no one else to blame if they were unsuitable for her. The men who are serious don’t want her, the one’s that are like her only have time for themselves. So I’m not sure who in Hollywood would be suitable for her. I don’t see her dating anyone who is OUTSIDE of Hollywood. I’d be damn surprised if she developed a SERIOUS relationship in the next 5-10 years. She seems to think the problems have been with the men, might explain why she’s still in therapy. Until you take responsibility for your OWN life, you can’t expect to have fulfilling relationships.
I wish her well, but if she hasn’t gotten REAL with herself after over 20 years of therapy, I just don’t see it happening. She also might think about NOT having her agent as a middle man for securing dates for her. Dating sometimes is about being rejected. I guess having her agent as a third man, she doesn’t have to suffer the rejection personally. I know it’s hard for some to believe, but not every single man in Hollywood wants Jennifer Aniston. If you think they’re not thinking what some people are saying in blogs about her, you have your head in the sand.
Frankly, joking about the matter is about the only thing she can do. Doesn’t mean that deep inside it doesn’t hurt.

Let her rest in peace. She has a career, she has friends, she has her dogs and her money. aniston is so happy that she can make jokes about being John Mayer’s sloppy seconds…and thirds. Good for her.

Seriously, the only thing funny about Jennifer is reading about her failed attempts at “media-relationships” in the papers. Oh, and that she thinks shes Americas sweetheart at 40+ yrs old. Right. And of course the fact that she is very manly looking !!!!!!!

Jenn increased the visability of women in film?? When did that happen?? Because the last time I looked, Jenn was still the Laughing Joke in Hollywood. Jenn only rides on the coat-tails of others successes and most of her own movies STINK!!! So for that she gets an award??? Jenn must have bribed or slept with the judges!!!!!

I use to think she was ok but never found her funny. She has no pride and that bothers me to see that in a woman.
The victim card got stretched to the very end with her so she insulted her fans by telling them to P.iss Off and Don’t make me your Victim”..too funny that is exactly what she whined for on television talk shows and in magazines. When ppl started making fun of her pity me life she tried to turn it around and blame it on the ppl- so phoney.
Yeah so incorporating her movie titles into her life was a pr spin that she felt helped her due to being able to use brad pitts name to coattail along once again.
I don’t know i am not that picky but i like strong women like myself who are the farthest thing away from needy.
I think it’s funny that she can be humorously self-deprecating…I’ve always enjoyed that type of humor. I’d rather listen to that than the “I’m soooo perfect and my life is sooooo amazing and perfect” shtick. People who take themselves so seriously are waaaay too into themselves.
I also think she looks cute and her body is seriously amazing for a woman her age. Well, for a woman of any age really, but especially on somebody in their 40s.
Really? That’s all she can say about all her years in the business? She’s not very articulate is she? It was really a pretty inappropriate and poor excuse for an acceptance speech. Unless this is a joke award like the MTV Awards? Is it? Even if it was supposed to be a jokey event that speech wasn’t really very funny or witty. Come on, Jen, you’ve got plenty of money to hire really funny writers. Whoever wrote that ripped off bloggers and columnists who have already been joking for ages now about the comparisons between your life and your movies.

I don’t even get how she increased the visibilty of women in film? By just being in movies? Has she written any movies for women? Has she promoted other women in movies? Seems like Drew Barrymore would be a better choice.

Love the fact that she can poke fun at her life, pick herself up and move forward even with everyone watching. It is a shame that some haven’t had the insight to see that. Enough said.
She is so funny! She has a sarcastic timing of humor, I adore her. She is not just a beautiful woman with great legs and a pretty face, she has brain: she is smart, inteligent and lovely. Jen simply rocks!

I’m no fan of John Mayer but you DO NOT insult your former boyfriends or husbands in public like that. Not only is it immature but it’s just sounds bitter and cheap. There were clearly people in the audience who looked uncomfortable during her speech. Nor should she have allowed Chelsea Handler to insult Mayer either. Please don’t say that an award recipient couldn’t have let them know she would not appreciate insulting references to the men in her life because she could have and SHOULD have.
