Sienna Miller Covers Vogue July 2009
Sienna Miller is red hot in a Calvin Klein Collection custom azalea silk single-shoulder dress on the July 2009 cover of Vogue. Here are some choice quotes:
On never being on a real date: “I’ve actually never been taken on a date in my whole life. I have never had a one-night stand. I’m a real relationship person — contrary to public perception…I get kind of emotionally involved very quickly, and I’m not going to spend time with someone unless I love them. But it’s not hard for me to fall in love.”
On watching herself in The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, which she filmed in 2006: “I don’t think I feel comfortable getting naked now. I can see where I made the decision to make that film three years ago, but then you grow up and evolve and your tastes change. I was in this period where I was making movies back-to-back because I didn’t want to be at home. Anything to not be in London. I was running away (from the Jude Law situation). Seeing that film felt like a few steps back.”
On Jude cheating on her during “Nannygate”: “It’s dangerous to bring this up. I talked about him in an interview not long ago, saying that I still love him, and he was like, ‘Please stop talking about it.’ (laughs) This was going to be the first interview where I was going to try to be guarded and detached, not give anything away, and actually I realize that it’s irrelevant. You have to be yourself.…That was a very pivotal time in my life, and I’m happy saying that. It’s a private moment when you get your heart broken for the first time, and that was the absolute antithesis of private. (laughs) It couldn’t have been more public! I had people on the street being like, ‘Ang in there, loov!’ and all you want to do is crawl into a cave and weep for a week. (pauses) I think I discovered a whole new emotional depth that I didn’t have access to before. When you have your heart broken for the first time, you gain depth, and that’s why actors tend to get better with age, I think.”

You have to be proud of your roots. A person who denies where she cames from it’s no good for me. But wherever you was born your actions talk for you, and she always be a fake, arrogant, spoiled woman who wants to act like a good girl (see the link posted by Sheryl here, and this was previous Jude).
I like Sienna and it is really tiring to hear all of the haters drone on and on about the same thing. I don’t agree with the affair with Balty at all, and wish she had stayed far away from it all, but he also messed up big time and it is not fair that she gets all of the blame. I do think she is someone who wears her heart on her sleeve and perhaps falls in love too easily. Everyone makes mistakes when they think they are love-yes, hers was a big mistake, but is she going to be punished for the rest of her life? Hopefully she will have learned from it. Is she gets herself involved with another married man, then perhaps I will judge her more harshly-but at the moment that is not the case, and I think everyone should just lay off.
Since many have pointed out that her interview lacks remorse, her PR are now putting a spin on parts of the Vogue interview, trying to pass that whole bit about how her friend took her to dine at Balthazar’s (of all places) was her admitting wrong for the affair. If she were expressing regret for how the affair hurt others, then she would not have started off by talking about how someone was supposedly making her life hell. Besides, talking about how she “loved” every man that she slept with defeats the argument that she feels remorseful. Someone who was sorry about their affair and the hurt it caused, wouldn’t make a statement about how they loved a married man or even try to pass off the affair as something that just happened because she “falls in love easily”.
Just like always, that whole part where she talks about how her friend(hint-Madonna: remember SM put out many stories about how Madonna “sympathized” with her, wanted to dine with her to encourage her in the midst of her “great tribulations”, and wanted SM to be role model/acting coach for her daughter) took her to Balthazar’s to discuss her “pain” was just another opportunity to blame others for her mistakes. Considering how she starts off talking about how she is the injured party and tired to justify her actions with “but I was in love”, there was nothing remorseful about the retelling of her dining out with Madonna.
By the sam logic, people are tired of SM PLAYING THE VICTIM. Sienna “woe is me” Miller opened this can of worms when SHE decided to have a very public affair with a married man and then discuss how JL “betrayed” her in the Vogue interview. If she and her fans don’t like what people are saying about her, than perhaps SM should be more selective in what SHE PUTS OUT IN THE MEDIA and STOP whining about how the press/media is “out to get her/destroy her image”. She needs to take responsibility for her actions. Case in point, what right does she have to complain about what JL did to her when there are tons of pictures of her allowing a married to suck/her breast? As long as she keeps PLAYING THE VICTIM and refusing to take responsibility for her actions, people are not going to have any sympathy for her.
“Falling in love esaily” or “being in love” DOES NOT justify her actions with the married man. What she did wasn’t a mistake, it was stupid, immature, selfish, vindicitive, and insensitive. A mistake is lokcing your keys in a car or forgetting to pay a bill. She knew he was married, so no it wasn’t a mistake. Even after his wife declared that she was hurt by the affair, she still continued to flaunt the affair. She was wrong. She was wrong for not saying no, spreading lies about his wife, staging photo-op after photo-op with the married man, and publicly engaging in pda with the married man over and over again. Besides, if she were in love she sure would not have encouraged him to drink (since he had substance abuse problems in the past).
BG is not SM FIRST married man? Sean Penn. SM seems to perfer men with children or whose significant other is pregnant or gave birth to a baby. Sean Combs.
SM doesn’t get all of the blame. The difference between her and BG is that he has enough common sense to LAY LOW, SHUT UP, not tip off the paps every week, and to not play the victim. People don’t comment on BG because he doesn’t give them a reason to. We don’t see BG wearing those swimming trucks on SM sister’s birthday and releasing reports about how she is going to miss his sexy legs. BG knows that he is scum and he doesn’t try to depict himself as some sort of saint, like someone else. Hint-SM.
People are also expecting SM to abide by her own standards. Remember when she berated JL nanny for inserting herself into her relationship? So was does this change when she is the “other woman”?
she has used the press time and time again to want to make the world feel sorry for her. but yousee it has worked in reverse…..sienna was playing the field while engaged to jude……she was not there for him…hence he looked elsewhere. then she blames him. the man has said nothing about her since he broke off their relationship. he’s being a gentleman….she well she’s a spoiled baby…

As long as she drones on about “what Jude did to her” (which, my god, needs to be put into perspective) then I’ll say what I think about her. When she quits, I’ll quit. I will never spend a dime of my money on anything this girl’s name is applied to because she continues to prove just exactly how unclassy she is. She sets women back, not as much because of her relationships as the way she flaunts her ignorant “I’m not to blame because I’m so naive and trusting” (at 27, my god) and makes no apologies for the way she has hurt people over and over, while continuing to whine, again, about how she was hurt, a time that is long since over. Her obvious use of this to better her own image shows her questionable character, particularly since I’m pretty convinced she’s not naive.
And also, Lola, to more specifically continue with your thought, Jude made a mistake, but he’s apparently being punished for the rest of HIS life. He’s obviously learned and moved on to better things, but she’s not letting him or anyone else forget his mistake that he apologized for, so my opinion is, she’s getting exactly what she’s giving.
@A: She’s cute thanks.
shes hot!
i mean HOT!!
sheryl
your unhealthy obsessed with jude. grow up and get a bf FFS.
Not really, YM. Oh yes, I do like him, but the reason I’m here is because of Sienna. She’s made stupid statements, and I’m just saying what I think about it. If she doesn’t want comments on her private life, she should shut up.
But how original to call me out for an “unhealthy obsession” just because you’re a fan of Sienna and don’t see the hypocrisy behind her interview.
your a liar sheryl:
“But how original to call me out for an “unhealthy obsession” just because you’re a fan of Sienna and don’t see the hypocrisy behind her interview.”

you said “But how original to call me out for an “unhealthy obsession” just because you’re a fan of Sienna and don’t see the hypocrisy behind her interview.”
NOW your frustrated that you cannot prove that Im a ‘fan of Sienna’ because Ive just never said so. I didnt read the interview sheryl, because why should I? why should I even care who she is? I think she looks really gorgeous nothing more nothing less. thats all. Im not gonna marry her.
I said your unhealthy obsessed with jude because thats how it looks by all your posts. its just it is what it is. your parents should be really concerned about you, unless your only fifteen or seventeen years old, sheryl.
ym
she’s georgeous…is that all that matters? She’s a horrid human being…there’s no excuse for the things she’s done, pretty or not.
We’re born pretty or ugly. Luck of the draw. The only thing we can control is how we behave. All that Sheryl is saying is that Sienna acts badly.
star
even the Deity doesnt judge human beings until the end of theirs days. who gave you the right to judge?
a horrid human being? Ill give you that your just young. at some moment in time someone will say the same about you for some reason. guaranteed. its always just a matter of time.
