True Blood Uses Kwanten Physics

True Blood hunk Ryan Kwanten takes the June 2009 cover of Muscle & Body Mag. Here’s what the 32-year-old Aussie actor had to say:

On the vampire craze taking over the world: “It amazes me when people compare True Blood to Twilight. The only similarity is the fact that we both have vampires. The characters and different group dynamics that Alan manages to create and the issues that he confronts are so far beyond other vampire shows.”

On being a Vinyasa yoga practitioner after four years: “I come from a somewhat of a macho background when it comes to sports. When a friend of mine suggested I try yoga to help with flexibility, I said, ‘No, that’s more for the girls. It’s not my cup of tea.’ But I tried it and it beat me up. That first [yoga] class I was looking across the room and seeing girls and even guys putting their feet behind their heads, and I thought, Wow, that’s where I want to be. And I’m sort of naturally competitive, so once I sink my teeth into something I’m not going to let go.”

True Blood is such a great show and Ryan as Jason is one of the best characters. So funny and sexy with a sort of innocence to him. Great cast. Ryan is gorgeous!

Jason is my favorite character on True Blood, Ryan plays the part so well considering he’s so different to him in real life……and he’s so hot.
I find Sookie and Bill incredibly boring as a couple, Anna Paquin is annoying and whiny and Stephen Moyer just doesn’t have enough substance to play Bill, all the other roles are cast very well and are much more interesting.

Oh wow, I think I am in love with him. He plays the not to bright character so well and he’s a yoga practitioner in real life! What a catch.

LOVE TRUE BLOOD!! I’m a vampire freak. Twilight did nothing for me. Maybe because I felt it was a more tween movie and True Blood is more adult. Hated when stupid CBS cancelled Moonlight!!
