Chastity Bono & Jennifer Elia: Wellness Couple
Chastity Bono, who is in the process of transitioning from a female to a male, is spotted out and about Los Angeles with girlfriend Jennifer Elia on Monday (June 15).
On Tuesday (June 16), the 40-year-old daughter of Cher, who wants to become Chaz Bono, was also spotted entering a personalized wellness center.
GLAAD recently released a statement “both for him personally and for all who are committed to advancing discussions about fairness and equality for transgender people.”
The news of Chaz’s gender reassignment process broke last week.

Yes, Chaz has known since a very young age that he was not a woman but it takes a lot of thought over a lot of time to decide to change your gender. I say, good for Chaz and I hope he and his girlfriend friend remain happy and healthy.

Okie Dokie. So she’s known at a young age? Says who? Because she once mentioned on tv that she wanted to be a football player when she was a kid? Well heck , then all tomboys would be transgendered eh? NOT! If she KNEW at a young age why did she come out OVER 20 years ago as a LESBIAN? At no time did she mention she ‘felt like a man all her life’. Transgendered and lesbian are not even REMOTELY the same. Sounds like she’s one confused WOMAN.
On the other hand what does this make her partner? She claims she’s ok with Chasitity having the surgery and becoming a man. So now the OTHER Lesbian likes MEN? Just think of YOUR husband deciding that he wanted to be a woman; would YOUR relationship be the same? Would that be ok with YOU? What the heck is this?! Maybe she’s Bisexual and not Lesbian. I agree with some others, Chasitity should be thinking more about her HEALTH. She is overweight and hormones will only add the pounds. She obviously has esteem issues, with Cher as a mother I wouldn’t be surprised if some of this has to do with her relationship with her mother. What were the chances of her getting a MALE date when she was a teenager that was interested in HER and not her mother? People are sometimes shaped by their environment. Smarter people than I am have said that.
In any event I guess the doctors who decided she was ready for sexual reassignment glossed out whatever deep-seated problems she might have. This is just a confusing evolution. It’s not like a woman who comes out the first time and says she has always felt like a male. This is a 40 year old woman who first said she was lesbian over 20 years ago. if she didn’t know what she was THEN , why should anyone believe that she knows what she is NOW? Anyway, it’s her life, messed up as it is.

I could care less about this one. I feel for her mom though…No matter how much she smiles for the media you know there is some deep hurt going on with Cher.
I can’t identify so I won’t judge but the question is curious, if she identifies with being a man then does she not become hetero now? So she is no longer gay right? I agree with some that she/he/it should rather go thru bypass surgery first because I think her most important issue is her wieght before anything. Then touch up those dark roots.
