Michelle Pfeiffer Covers InStyle Magazine
Michelle Pfeiffer graces the July 2009 cover of InStyle. Here are some choice quotes from the 51-year-old actress:
On getting told she’s beautiful: “It took me about eight years to feel it was okay to look my nicest. To think, I’m just going to enjoy this. The older I get, the more I like hearing it. There’s this tremendous pressure off [after age 50] – you deserve to have a wrinkle, you deserve to have a little pooch on your tummy.”
On playing an older seductress opposite 26-year-old Rupert Friend in the upcoming film Cheri: “I so hate the term [cougar]!”
On her husband of fifteen years, television producer David E. Kelley: “Can you imagine, for 20 years, trying to stay mysterious in your relationship? That’s the worst advice I’ve ever heard. Of all the people in your life you don’t want to hide from, it’s your partner.”

To say she’s had “so much plastic surgery” with no proof is just a spiteful, jealous comment. A woman is NOT skinny who is lean and toned, just because she isn’t fat and you wish she were.
This woman has always had incredible beauty, and easily could have played the same role she did in Animal House a few more times, just the sexy girl, and her career be over by the time she was 26, like a Heather Graham type.
Instead, she’s a powerhouse actress who insisted on being taken seriously, not by whining about being beautiful, or complaining of sexism in Hollywood, but by taking on demanding roles and nailing them every time. To still be working after a career of 30 years is a HUGE achievement! And she’s raised a family out of the public eye with a husband who is also an important Hollywood player — very admirable, indeed.
Love her!
This is what you call a “true” actress. She’s pretty, good person and a very good actress. Cheers to Michelle P.
Hands down the most beautiful woman in Hollywood…also one of the best actresses of all time…love her and her down to earth character..
Always a beautiful woman getting better with age. Amazing
Beautiful and very classy. I hope today’s young actresses will follow her role.
She has alway been my favorite actress. She is a timeless beauty! Fabulous Baker Boys, Dangerous Liasons, One Fine Day, HairSpray … Hope we see more of her in movies.
she’a beautiful and ageless
She’s fake, not natural at all and should accept her age.
51? Come on! She is so young, fresh and beautiful, just like a girl. This woman is really something. Always so pretty, no matter how old she is. GORGEOUS!
Beautiful! Cheers!
She’s more than just stunning to me. She’s perfection! The truest movie star in every sense of the word. She’s so soft spoken and gentle. A mystery in every sense of the word. Her films are great, so much vulnerability and likability in every role. About the plastic surgery, if she’s had any, she’s had the EXTREMELY GOOD kind. She looks fresh still, and very natural. Love her!
She does not look 51!
I love her! Doubt she’s had plastic surgery. She’s Michelle Pfeiffer!
