Gerard Butler Is A Hired Hunter
Gerard Butler relaxes for a bit in between filming scenes for Bounty Hunter in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday (June 16).
The 39-year-old actor was filmed running through a Forth of July parade on a chase. In the film, a bounty hunter (Butler) is hired to track down his ex-wife, Casidy (Jennifer Aniston).
Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock regular Jason Sudeikis (Floyd) has been cast in the Columbia Pictures comedy Bounty Hunter. Sudeikis will play Stewart, a work friend of Casidy’s who falsely believes he is her boyfriend and takes off after her when she goes on the run, THR reports.

If we are to believe these tweets that are being posted by young women…QUESTION: why the f*ck is this old f art taking pictures of these girls and getting email addresses saying he will send them a copy.
We could think that maybe they didn’t have their cam/phones with them to get a snap with a “movie star”, and that he was just being nice offering to take pics with his camera. Anyone believe that?!
Hate to think the worst but after everything that’s been said, it’s difficult not to wonder what this guy is thinking. Yikes!
I rarely defend the guy on this board and find a lot of his behavior annoying, immature and/or disgusting. He is pretty much just eye candy as far as I am concerned, with a side of crazy fangirl entertainment. However, two comments:
Giving him the benefit of the doubt - they probably don’t allow the extras to have cameras or cell phones on set, so it would not be shocking that the girls did not have one. So maybe he was just being a nice guy and offering a picture with the “star” - a little narcissistic, unless they asked or he got word of them wanting to from someone else. And of course he is going to have to get their contact info because he certainly would not give his out to a bunch of extras, I doubt. Just a thought.
The the fan video posted earlier is very nice. I don’t know how much of it was him playing up for the camera (I do think a lot of what he does is for show), but he was really very nice to his fans. . . making sure everyone got a picture, talking, joking, and introducing what appeared to be a friend from home (sounded like he was telling an old story that involved the guy - hard to tell). I have to give him credit for that. Very cool.
@Concerned: You’re not alone in your worry and wondering. I normally try to keep my posts snarky and silly- just having a bit of fun here. But my momma bear claws curled when I read the tweets and both said HE asked to get a picture with them. They didn’t ask him.

It should be noted that Gerard took photos with a group of extras. The girl mentioned in the above post was only one of them. Here is a tweet from another girl who was there on the shoot. @cassandrabodzak did u give Gerard’s assistant your email as well?
The karen girl is playing it for all it’s worth, when most likely he was just doing a nice thing for a GROUP of extras. Big deal.

@Tom: As an earlier poster said, the girls didn’t ask for his picture, G asked for theirs. Getting extras (lots of extras) contact info is his game and that his assistant was involved sounds very familiar. These two tweeties are actresses who want to get in the movie biz. I hope they don’t think giving their email to his people will lead to a job.
I’m not sure if you are new here but a few months ago a Philly blogger blew the lid off G’s game. It was followed here by some very insightful posts that now seem very legit.
Glad somebody tweeted about his behavior. Starry eyed want-a-be actresses can be foolish and vulnerable, believing anything a “star” might say, I’ll put you in my next movie, hook you up with all the right people, BS like that. JMO

Since the extras are posting directly from the set to twitter and some of them have also posted pics, it’s clear they are allowed cell phones (with camera) or cameras. So they could have taken their own pictures with him.

And another thing: According to Extra TV (not to be confused with the extras on set, LOL), his reps have denied the Rachel Roy rumors, saying they’re “just friends”… Now that’s a first, I think his reps have never actively denied any dating rumors before. Only he did when he was specifically asked himself. So I wonder, why are they doing that now? Especially since this rumor hadn’t even made the big papers yet but was just another page 6 item from the NY Times.

-Yes, you read that right. Therefore, I’m retiring my mouthpiece (now named Little Gerry).
So this is what happened. I’m standing to shoot another scene, and Gerry comes up and asks if he can try playing my trombone. I say sure, of course, and I end up teaching how to play the trombone. A lot of pictures were taken (though I can’t release them since, as mentioned before, I signed away my rights to say anything about the movie).
People all said I “made out” with Gerry Butler. He also said he’s going to take my spot in the band. He can take my spot any day.-
@extras: Apparently they did take pictures of G, tweeted about it.
So why is he taking pics of them-
it’s a set up to get contact info for sure.
