Gerard Butler Is A Hired Hunter
Gerard Butler relaxes for a bit in between filming scenes for Bounty Hunter in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday (June 16).
The 39-year-old actor was filmed running through a Forth of July parade on a chase. In the film, a bounty hunter (Butler) is hired to track down his ex-wife, Casidy (Jennifer Aniston).
Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock regular Jason Sudeikis (Floyd) has been cast in the Columbia Pictures comedy Bounty Hunter. Sudeikis will play Stewart, a work friend of Casidy’s who falsely believes he is her boyfriend and takes off after her when she goes on the run, THR reports.

I have a brother who’s one of the biggest manwhores on the planet. He has his ‘go to’ girls; the fugly one’s he wouldn’t take to a dog fight, but he’ll call them up when all other options have failed. So, you might say I am speaking from ‘experience’.

Gerry’s “go to” list would consist of wannabe actresses and models. He has enough women chasing him that he doesn’t need to go to lower quality to get laid. But he does seem to have bad taste in women. Only one he’s been with was pretty. The A listers and the top models don’t want men like Gerry. They want men like Ryan Reynolds. Gerry will end up in a Bruce Willis-like marriage. Once the kids are squirted, she’ll take the money and run. That’s just the way it always goes. Always has. Always will.

FYI…Gerry was at the 2009 Whitney Art Party last night. He might have hooked up with someone, but I doubt it was with one of the extras from the set - not that the extra ever claimed that to begin with, but still. :)

DonnaKat, you seem to spends a great deal of time scoping out GB on the internet. Maybe you can explain something for us. Why is GB’s mouth so crooked? Is it a Scottish thing, or does that come from talking out of both sides of his face?
Could the Waverly Chick be his sister? Looks a lot like the gal he was photographed with on the street a little while back that he identified as his sister to the pap shooting him leaving the meet and greet on the street. Meet…Greet. Street. Made me laugh…
Good grief — he didn’t say that was his sister. He said it was his old assistant who worked for him for about a year. There was a video by TMZ or whoever who put subtitles on the video and captioned it wrong - they are idiots. That might be what you are thinking about. His sister Lynn has short hair and looks quite a bit like him. The Waverly chick is, in fact, a business associate as already posted here. She has been with him at several events throught the years as well as with he and Alan (and Alan’s husband David Meister) at Fashion Week a few months ago. Why is this difficult for some to comprehend? She works with Gerry and Alan.

He worked as a lawyer-in-training for Queen Elizabeth’s estates in Scotland!!! HIs law degree was about estates and fiduciary matters: he is extremely bright and well-read!!!! All that and that handsome face and rockin’ body…as well as that brogue!!!! I love his acting, for he becomes his characters!!! Thanks , JJ!!!!!! You’ve given us our Butler again!!!! For f/ck sake Liz. He didn’t graduate summa *** laude. And being Pres. of the Law Society is not like being President of the Hardvard Law Review. It is a SOCIAL fraternity. It is not a Law Review. A Law Review is an academic organization and requires it’s members to write articles and analyse the law. You have to compete to get on it. It’s a TON of work. How do I know this? I went to law school and was a member of the law review at my law school. The Law Society that Butler talks about was a social fraternity — i.e. an excuse to party and drink. We had those too -and I was a member of it as well. He certainly isn’t “brilliant” based on his academic record and work experience. In fact, he got fired before qualifying - so guess what…he isn’t even a lawyer. He went to law school. Big difference. It’s like people who go to law school and never pass the bar. They aren’t lawyers. And don’t give me the excuse that his heart wasn’t in it, and that’s why he was fired. He was drinking, playing in a band and missing work from all his partying. That isn’t professional at all. It’s immature and inexcusable. If his heart wasn’t in it, he should have left instead of taking advantage of his employer and getting paid while doing sub par work - when he even bothered to show up.
Why do you fangurls imbellish everything? It takes away from the accomplishments that he does have. Hey, at least he has a university degree unlike much of Hollywood who don’t even have high school degrees and are as dumb as a box of hair.

Well tru dat, I would try to explain it to you, but you probably wouldn’t understand anyway. You know, seeing as how you’re a perfectly flawless human being and everything.
The fangurls and haters have to pick apart posts when someone dares to say something reasonable that they don’t agree with.
