Katie Holmes Gets Happy With Judy Garland
For her performance on So You Think You Can Dance, Katie Holmes will re-create Judy Garland’s “Get Happy,” from her 1950 musical, Summer Stock.
An Us Weekly spywitness says Katie will twirl her hair and “seductively shakes her hips” in an all-black ensemble similar to Garland’s: black velvet fedora, patent leather heels, nylon stockings, body-hugging skirt and micro-mini skirt.
Tyce Diorio choreographed the routine while the show’s producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe directed.
Katie’s performance “might broadcast this week as news has started to leak out — but they’re trying to save it for July 8th, as that is the 100th episode.”

If Katie Homely could dance, she would have got the part in Nine. I will have to watch because she is sooooo funny…..she made such a fool of herself on Eli Stone…if the bad attempts at dancing weren’t enough, she finished herself off trying to act as well.. lmao roflmao I predicted that Eli Stone would be canceled once Katie Beard Homely made an appearance on the show.
The only reason she gets to be on SYTYCD is because Nigel L is a cult member. I always suspected Nigel was gay. Now I’m convinced that maybe he and Tommy are having a thing?
Katie probably fell flat on her A*s during the taping and they probably had to reshoot it 10 times. I just hope she covers up her cankles and elephant legs.

There are usually only pics of Suri Cruise once or twice a week. Sometimes even once or twice every two weeks.
You can’t use a kid that doesn’t do anything to get attention. No one is going ‘There’s a picture of Tom with his cute little girl. I think I’ll go see Valkyrie.’ Cruise could be doing so much more to get attention like film back-to-back action movies and romantic comedies but he doesn’t. Why can’t we give Katie a chance to see what she can do ? Everyone just assume’s she will bomb, but not one person has seen her in rehearsal’s. And who has the proof her ” parts were bought for her.”
That is silly and ridiculous. If a producer or director does not want to use someone regardless who it is, no amount of money will buy them, if they don’t have talent. What good would that do for them ?
This dance isn’t even showcasing Garland’s technical talent. It’s simplistic enough that even Stumpy can imitate it.
But we have seen Katie on eli stone. And many of us who love Lithgow had the unfortunate experience of watching her ruin All My Sons on Broadway.
As someone who has seen well over 200 Broadway Plays (I keep the stubs and programs), Katie was an embarrassment to those actors who have worked their butts off over the years to play on Broadway. If Katie hadn’t married Tommy Girl there is no way in he*ll she would have gotten that part.
So maybe those of us who are skeptical have a good reason to be so.
