Katie Holmes Gets Happy With Judy Garland
For her performance on So You Think You Can Dance, Katie Holmes will re-create Judy Garland’s “Get Happy,” from her 1950 musical, Summer Stock.
An Us Weekly spywitness says Katie will twirl her hair and “seductively shakes her hips” in an all-black ensemble similar to Garland’s: black velvet fedora, patent leather heels, nylon stockings, body-hugging skirt and micro-mini skirt.
Tyce Diorio choreographed the routine while the show’s producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe directed.
Katie’s performance “might broadcast this week as news has started to leak out — but they’re trying to save it for July 8th, as that is the 100th episode.”

I have no frickin clue what I am talking about. She is a waste of space. My boss doesnt pay me enough to defend this crap of a wh ore. Maybe I need to work at WalMart as a greeter? That at least is a admirable job.
Dawson’s Creek was nothing more than a low-budget teeny bopper show. NO ONE other than outcast teenagers with no life watched that silly show. It was on a rinky-dink network….doesn’t that tell you all you need to know?
I got through 20 minutes of one rerun of Dawson’s Creek. That was all I could handle. BARF!
That show didn’t require talented actors because the audience was a bunch of punks who wouldn’t know the difference.
And why is she doing this?? Is she promoting a film centered on dance? Or does she need the attention?
This whole appearance is perplexing to me…who even knew she could dance?
We already know that Anne Hathaway is playing Judy Garland in an upcoming film…I just see little to no point at all…

Yeah, Katie has a track record to be real proud of….very few people have seriously taken note of her career…until she married Tommy girl.
You obviously haven’t seen that many broadway plays, good dancing gigs, quality movies, and decent Television if you think the parts Katie has acted in are good.

No surprise there. Nigel was/is dating Priscilla Presley…..figured he was a scientologist since she was/is dating him. Priscilla’s been a cult member since the 70s…she wouldn’t date a non-scientopsycho.

I can’t wait to watch her make a fool of herself. What a fool she is. Does she really believe anybody thinks she auditioned for any of the few roles she’s had since marrying Tom? its good to see judy garland recognized. she is one of if not the best clasicis even, and its tragic to see people like marilyn monroe and audrey hepurn earn the fame when they are nothing but less than half the performer judy was

Checking out Holmes’ Instyle and Glamour covers and features and her Miu Miu ads, it is easy to see that she is totally beautiful. People can be soo nasty when it comes to appreciating others.

hmmmmmmmm, Katie was most certainly not the star of Dawson’s Creek. lol. Never heard of Mrs. Tingle so I’m guessing it wasn’t a money maker. I did see her in Batman Begins and she was awful. Simply awful. She was the only loose link in an otherwise good movie. She sucked.
