OlderAlexis Bledel Loves American Art
Alexis Bledel arrives on the concrete “carpet”, as The Whitney Contemporaries host the Art Party and Auction benefiting the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Independent Study Program and Educational Initiatives at Skylight Studios in Soho, NYC on Wednesday (June 17).
The 27-year-old former Gilmore Girls star will be starring in the upcoming summer film, Post Grad. In a recent interview discussing the film, she talked about her former character on Gilmore Girls, compared to the character she played in Post Grad. “Well, as the years went by on Gilmore Girls, I noticed that Rory was kind of like an idealized product of the show’s imagination because she was really perfect in a lot of ways, which started to annoy me a bit, but you have to keep playing the character,” she said.
“But Ryden -– I think she’s much more relatable in a lot of ways and this character’s story picks up in the same stage of life where Rory left off, graduating from college,” Alexis told North by Northwestern. “So for anyone who likes the show, its kind of -– it’s a continuation in a way, but she’s a completely different girl because she makes a lot of mistakes. She has a very typical college experience. She’s kind of an average girl, and I can relate much more to her.

Simply Hot & Fab. I didn’t know her body was this curvy… very unassuming gal. I want that outfit… I like her haircut too. It makes her look more mature especially considering how still young-looking she is.
Alexis is so gorgeous! That dress is somewhat sneaky. I think if the likes of Paris, Jessica, Lindsay, Mischa, the Hills & all those ****** tartlets would wear it, it would surely look tacky but w/ Alexis, I think she is rocking the hell out of that dress.

I love her make-up here its not over done like usual for fashion events. Tthe girl doesn’t need a lot of make up she has nice features and she looks natural her face looks more beautiful this way.

Cute trailer! Alexis is blindingly beautiful – who wouldn’t hire a face like that? And of course, the number one reason to see it is the uber-divine Rodrigo Santoro. *swoooon* And with Zach Gilford in the mix as well, I gotta say – this is the most beautiful cast I’ve seen in a while.

I think Alexis Bledel is one of the most beautiful stars out there. You call a lot of people “hot” or “sexy” or “pretty”, but beautiful rarely applies. There is a sweetness to her beauty.
I think Alexis’ small waist & shapely hips is prone to jealousy.
Alexis “takes the cake” in terms of beauty, poise and personality. IMO she’s the best dress at this year’s WCA.
Just being nitpicky but I think Alexis is more pear than hourglass. Being a massive fan, I followed coverage of her over the years and I always thought she was pear-shaped because her chest isn’t that large. Anyhow - she’s gorgeous whatever shape she is. That face is undeniably beautiful!
