OlderAlexis Bledel Loves American Art
Alexis Bledel arrives on the concrete “carpet”, as The Whitney Contemporaries host the Art Party and Auction benefiting the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Independent Study Program and Educational Initiatives at Skylight Studios in Soho, NYC on Wednesday (June 17).
The 27-year-old former Gilmore Girls star will be starring in the upcoming summer film, Post Grad. In a recent interview discussing the film, she talked about her former character on Gilmore Girls, compared to the character she played in Post Grad. “Well, as the years went by on Gilmore Girls, I noticed that Rory was kind of like an idealized product of the show’s imagination because she was really perfect in a lot of ways, which started to annoy me a bit, but you have to keep playing the character,” she said.
“But Ryden -– I think she’s much more relatable in a lot of ways and this character’s story picks up in the same stage of life where Rory left off, graduating from college,” Alexis told North by Northwestern. “So for anyone who likes the show, its kind of -– it’s a continuation in a way, but she’s a completely different girl because she makes a lot of mistakes. She has a very typical college experience. She’s kind of an average girl, and I can relate much more to her.

I find this movie quite endearing actually. I’m in the midst of having the same crisis, sans hot looking male neighbor and best friend. I might check this out and see how her life changes and forget about how my life seems to be stuck in a muddy rut.
Her “eyes” should have a written script on a movie or even a phrase from a poem. And thanks for all the AB goodies lately Jared… keep it up.
IMHO, what makes her classy hot & beautiful inside & out is that she ISN’T in the tabloids all the time. And all those tabloid junkie starlets should take note!
Alexis is UBER gorgeous. I miss the Gilmore Girls, it was my favorite show for the longest time & hopefully a movie would get materialized soo. And further, we are going to see tons of Alexis pics. when Post Grad promos begins this summer, well hopefully & preferably…

Glad to see Alexis more often on this site w/c somewhat rare to happen before. But its just a good thing coz she got an upcoming movie on her sleeves. So I think she really needs to be seen more often than before. Thanks for the post & hoping for lots & lots of it.
