Angelina Jolie: World Refugee Day Commemoration
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie joins the commemoration of World Refugee Day at the National Geographic Society on Thursday (June 18) in Washington, D.C.
According to UNHCR, this year’s theme for World Refugee Day on June 20 is “Real People, Real Needs.” Of the millions of people forcibly displaced by conflict, persecution and natural disasters, every one has a story to tell; they are real people, just like you and me, and they have real needs. But, despite the best efforts of UNHCR and many others, many of these basic needs are far from being met.

Some people can really be so mean to undermine the efforts of Angelina Jolie to help the unfortunate ones especially the refugees. They don’t appreciate the money, time & effort that AJ has contributed.

They always seem to look for reasons no matter how incredible it may be just so to put AJ in a negative light.

These kind of people perhaps have personal issues among themselves that they cannot take it when they see someone as AJ who really can be of help to a lot of people.

They simply are envious of AJ’s kindness. The people who criticize her possibly do not help others as it pains them to see the goodness of the heart as manifested by AJ’s actions.

They are so pathetic that their envy just turned to hatred to someone they don’t even know personally & yet they rather want to judge her every action & motive in helping the victims of war.

I hope these righteous people will find in their heart that every good deed is good and be inspired to do their part as well instead of judging others.

O’kay, I’m going to say this and never mention it again. I believe Brad and Angelina are married–because–I believe neither Brad nor Angelina would have a baby out of wedlock–and–she would not have let Brad adopt the kids–and–Brad is from a family where everyone(or most everyone)has kids after they are married. They have alway said that they would get married if it was important to their kids. Oh, and I believe they are happy and that they pray everyday for a lifetime together. I’m sure they are proud of eachother. I am proud of them individually and as a couple.
Angelina Jolie is soooooo FAKE! I wish they would just get her off every bit of news that I try to see about other people. The only reason she does her “good will” work is for her own selfish reasons of publicity. She makes me sick! If only she could be a REAL woman like Jennifer Anniston

Angie is an amazing woman and i love her for her big heart.
Angie cares about the poor and downtrodden. She is passionate about all she can try to do to make the world a better place for the less fortunate in third world countries.
God Bless her. Angie is now where she wants to be doing one movie a year and raising her family to be knowledgable too of the less fortunate. Brad is right beside her loving her for all the goodness she spreads wherever she goes.

If Angie and Brad wanted to get married i am absolutely sure they would as they both have told the world being together almost 24/7 going on 5 yrs raising their family without that piece of paper is fine with them.
They are both happy and very much in love they both have said they have nothing against marriage and if the day ever comes that they feel like getting married they will. But once again as Angie and Brad both said it couldn’t feel any more like marriage then the real deal so they are not concerned especially about what others think.
She is a beautiful woman inside and out.. I think they make a gorgeous couple.

I’ll never forget the vanity fair interview Angelina did when she was making the movie with brad pitt-she had a bunch of complete bs about meeting with lovers in hotels to satisfy her needs and all this bs and I thought, why say all this? Then bingo: the Brad Pitt story broke…she really laid it on thick. Then HE put on this stupid, phoney, “Just don’t know if I want to be married” bs to Anniston, …”it’s not about Angelina” to Jen cause he wanted to get out of the marriage without damage to himself or Angelina. Let “Jen take the fall and have my aget errr…inside source plant a bs story about Jen not wanting kids so he can keep his image. Brangelina deserved each other. Both of them stink!

What is it with all the tabloids claiming that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are breaking up? This column can assure you that it’s absolutely not true. They have several kids together, have a saint status for their humanitarian deeds, and have been Hollywood’s hottest couple for the past three years.

Does Jennifer Aniston have something to do with this? After all, Ms. Aniston can’t seem to keep a husband, boyfriend, or even a film career. Perez Hilton and others constantly call her “Maniston” and she is ridiculed throughout the Internet.

It’s most probable that the rumors being spread are by people who are so miserable with their own lives that they love to see celebrities fail. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have what true stars are made of. Unfortunately, that’s just too much for some.

Angelina looks older than she is, she’s got wisdom around those eyes, this is not a slam, ever since she started her UNHCR thing she looks older. No doubt by what she’s seen in her many, many travels to some of the most unforgiving places on earth (Bosnia, Sierra Leone, Darfur etc. etc) She just has this maturity to her, still beautiful though, but then again having 6 kids probably ages you too.
