Bo Obama: First Dog Of The United States
Check out this cute new portrait of the Obama family dog, a Portuguese water dog name Bo Obama.
President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and daughters Malia and Sasha welcomed him into the White House on April 14th. Here’s a few little known facts about the pet pooch:
– Bo’s name came from two different places: Mrs. Obama’s father’s nickname was “Diddley” and Malia and Sasha’s cousins have a cat named Bo — and another cat named Diddley.
– Bo was a gift to the Obama family from Senator Ted Kennedy and his wife, Vicki.
– Even though Bo is a Portuguese water dog, he doesn’t know how to swim!

Great way to take attention away from what’s really going on in the White House.
‘Hey ya’ll, let’s focus on the “First Dog” instead of our a$$es being handed to us by N. Korea. Or, the unemployment rate skyrocketing. Or Obama spending our country into insurmountable debt that our grandchildren’s grandchildren will be paying for in taxes. Oh, and how about the universal healthcare he’s trying to pass that will no doubt put an enormous strain on doctors, who will undoubtedly change professions because they will get paid less and working more.’
