Thandie Newton Teaches At Oprah’s School

Thandie Newton poses with kids after leading acting workshops at Oprah Winfrey’s Leadership Academy in South Africa on Friday (June 19).

The 36-year-old British actress shared before the trip, “I am really looking forward to it as its such a great scheme and it’s nice to give something back.”

Also pictured: Saved By The Bell alum Elizabeth Berkley, Kathy Freston and Greg Lauren.

Other pictures include Thandie earlier this month hosting the launch party for the Martini “Stay Beautiful” Campaign.

Julie, Thandie got that part on her OWN merits and met Brad on set. Get your facts right. Thandie is fine boned and only 5ft 3 I thinks she is lovely. Classy, dainty and graceful.

She is beautiful but certainly not the best looking black actress, may be to you she is and that is ok. I won’t say she is the best though.

Oprah & Thandie are both brilliant. Loved BELOVED with both of them in it: the most underrated movie of all time. Oprah’s an amazing mother to all those girls in South Africa & Obama would never have become president had it not been for Oprah’s marketing genius. Brilliant black beautiful billionaire. I love Oprah Winfrey.
