Brad Pitt takes his motorcycle for a spin in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (June 19).
The 45-year-old actor and director Quentin Tarantino are dubbed the “Must Bastards” in Entertainment Weekly’s Must-List Issue. The pair join forces for the hotly anticipated World War II revenge fantasy Inglourious Basterds.
Brad has worked with some major directors— David Fincher, Terrence Malick, the Coen brothers – and he knows it.
“I’m a director whore, it’s true,” he says. The movie has been described as “kosher porn,” seeing as it is a revenge fantasy about Jewish-American soldiers. “But there is an aspect of a wish-fulfillment fantasy to the film, for lack of better words,” says Quentin. “Taking down Hitler and destroying the Third Reich—we’ve all had those fantasies.”

What’s cracking me up is these trolls apparently think Brad and Angie are supposed to be joined at the hip 24/7/365 to prove they’re still together and still committed. I can’t remember which interview it was, but Brad said very specifically that he didn’t think marriage or a partnership meant they had to live in each other’s pockets and it was good for them each to have their own little niche or passion projects and maintain their individuality. Which Angie has always considered her independence to be a prized possession. They’re on the same page - they have common goals, common interests and a common purpose - but they don’t live in each other’s back pockets and are still individuals in their own right. Apparently this is a foreign concept for the trolls.
