Kelly Clarkson: Much Music Motley!
American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson walks the red carpet in a multi-colored dress at the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada on Sunday (June 21).
The 27-year-old Texan singing sensation performed her hit song “My Life Would Suck Without You” from MuchMusic’s Queen Street West HQ in downtown Toronto.
Other celebs walking the red carpet include: Fergie & the rest of Black Eyed Peas, Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, Jayde Nicole,Drake, Rumer Willis, Taylor Lautner, Kim Kardashian and more!

Is this where we comment on how ugly her dress is and how much weight she’s putting on?
I love Kelly’s music but I don’t really like that dress. There’s too much going on. A plain orange one would have been nicer I think.

Her songs all sound the same, nothing new. The MMVA’s were great though. C: Lady Gaga = so awesome! And, I love how you highlight Fergie’s name but left the rest of the BEP members as just “the rest of the BEP.” :O

i saw lady gaga perform, and i only liked the ending. kelly clarkson has a great voice.. but the performance was blaaaaah.. she needs to do something else..

i think the reason the public and media give her such a hard time is because they want her to be this huge trend-setter all around because of her amazing powerful voice…but fail to convince kelly every time.

She looks good in that dress, it’s much more flattering than her performance outfit. And I think people should call her fat, b/c she’s obviously in denial, thinking that her she’s healthy. She needs to realize that she’s setting a horrible example to overweight teenagers that think being overweight is ok, b/c it’s not ok, its extremely detrimental to their health!

If you look at the photos of Kelly on the red carpet, the people in the crowd aren’t even paying attention to her. Almost all of them have their heads turned to the right. She has lost her star quality.
You know, the world would be a better place if you just keep your opinions to yourselves. If you don’t like her that much, why even bother wasting your time commenting here? I don’t like other artists, too, but I don’t spend my time banging the keyboards just to show my disgust toward them.

The dress wasn’t the best fashion decision but she sounded amazing, as always! And I hate how everyone insults her weight like she weighs 200 lbs plus. She’s only 5′3 so any weight she gains will really show (I would know because I’m only 5′2 myself). I mean… it’s pretty obvious that she could easily lose 20 lbs but to call her a whale and etc over it? Just uncalled for. Would you say these things to her face? No. So don’t say it at all.

I think she looks better than the last few post. Maybe (some) of the harsh comments she took to heart and decided to get a little heathier, because she looks good. I like the dress on her, complimentary fit and color…looks comfortable! Good for her.
I didn’t know they made tents in such bright colors.

Her hair looks meh. No likely….and thank goodness for the dress. It hides a multitude of sins, well…..except the arms. Doh.
Ah, Kelly’s all right, but she’s obviously never gonna be a glamour queen like Carrie. Her hair looks great, but I don’t know, the makeup doesn’t look right or something….. not enough??? …. & honestly, I think she needs braces with that overbite. Did she suck her fingers as a kid or something? Horrible choice in clothing… that fugly dress wouldn’t look good on Angelina Jolie, much less little Miss Independent. The hair would have looked fine with a slimming black gown.

She’s big, but she doesn’t look terrible. She’s a singer for goodness sakes, not a runway model. Arethat Franklin isn’t exactly svelte but everybody loves her music, so I don’t see why Kelly can’t carry a few extra pounds and still have a good (maybe even better) voice.

I think Kelly looks great! This is one of the best looks I have seen with her lately! She just so bubbly and cute.
I heard that in person she is still little even if she may have gained 10lbs! She is healthy and people should not concentrate on her weight!

Well it’s all perspective. Kelly has looked liked she gained a ton of weight in the last year or so regardless of what pictures you are looking at. She’s probably “little” in stature, not necessarily girth…..10lbs in her dreams.
