Jessica Simpson Pays The Price Of Beauty

It’s official! Jessica Simpson’s docu-series The Price of Beauty was just picked up by VH1.

The 28-year-old entertainer will travel the world to study the local fashions, dietary fads and beauty regimes and even participate in some of the extreme practices she discovers.

“When [Chris Coelen, CEO of production company RDF Media] approached me with his idea for a show about true beauty, I was immediately intrigued,” Jessica stated. “I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful, but I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect. I am really looking forward to discovering how beauty is perceived in different cultures and participating in some of the crazy things people do to feel beautiful. I know we will all learn a lot on this journey and I am so excited that VH1 is coming along on what I’m sure will be a wild ride.”

The Price of Beauty begins shooting in mid-July. Jessica and her dad Joe Simpson will serve as executive producers.

It seems odd that she’s doing a show whose concept sounds so similar to Nick’s new girlfriend’s own show on a major network. Although, I’m sure it was tanked in this economy. It wasn’t the greatest show, either. I think Vanessa’s show was even called “True Beauty”

Why did jj use this OLD ASS video….Hello Jessica Simpson doesn’t look like that ANYMORE and she is not the go to person for advice…..I am not a hater but I can’t stand this girl she is SOOOOOOOOOOO Fake and will do anything to keep herself in the media….I guess getting pregnant isn’t an option anymore (I’m talking about all the pics of her covering her stomach to keep herself in the papers/mags..Is JS pregnant) since all Tony can say about her is that she likes to Eat and watch football..oh yeah and she is rooting for his Team….oh well Good Luck ANYWAY…

failed in pop music, failed in country music, failed in acting, all she knows how to do is be stupid on tv reality shows, she is the biggest joke in the music world, and no one respects this bimbo..as soon as jessica’s looks fade then she will also fade, her career “so called” career cant hold her up for crap.

she never complained when the tabloids praised her for her fit body in the media, but when they mocked her for being fat it was a different story…sounds like a double standard to me.
