OlderJennifer Aniston Takes Action For Healthy Kids
Smartwater and its spokesperson Jennifer Aniston just launched a limited-edition smartwater bottle, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the non-profit organization Action For Healthy Kids, a group that gets kids moving, eating well, staying hydrated and educated on what it takes to live healthy lives.
5 cents of each bottle sold will go directly to Action for Healthy Kids, with a minimum donation of $1 million. The bottle’s label was inspired by a mural Jennifer and a group of 20 kids from the AFHK program in Los Angeles did this past fall.
Jennifer shared, “I really learned so much from these kids during the art session and am grateful to be able to partner with smartwater to help such an amazing organization, one that makes an enormous difference in kids’ lives every day.”

SmartWater is expensive. It is about 4 bucks for a 1.5L bottle. So 5 cents a bottle is miserly of them. It is an advertising ploy.
But this is a worthy charity. If you want to help with their work, donate to them directly. Then JA will have done some good by making you aware of how this organization serves children in your community.

You guys don’t even care the environment! It’s just more fuel for bashing! If she was promoting make-up you’d claim that Aniston was for the abuse of animals!Plastic bottles can be easily recycled or reused. And what do you want anyway? For people to stop using all plastic containers?

Bottle water is bad for the environment - and using her company (or one she has shares in) to encourage kids to use bottled water - is wicked. She is an idiot to keep promoting bottled water when cities around the world are banning it.
I have to laugh at the Jenhens. Why are they giving credit to Jennifer for the donation when it’s the company doing the donating? It’s not coming from her own wallet. I think she’s a major investor but Jennifer really has nothing to do with the money. She’s just losing a few thousand, if that, of profit.
Why bother to buy Jenn’s bottled water. Your just lining her pockets with money. Drink your own water and donate the money you save to your favorite charity. Jenn’s a dumbazz.
Good Old Jen - always out of synch with the rest of the world. As more and more celebrities are going green, Jen keeps pushing her bottled water on the masses and now on kids. She is a total bottom feeder - anything for money, including exploiting her love life, badmouthing her exs and now encouraging kids to use wasteful water.

People use plastic bottles all the time, #85. They’re very useful and reusable and can be recycled. Even without a bottled water industry, people would need a container made of something that’s likely plastic to contain beverages.

OMG. This woman needs to get a brain! Bottled water is being banned by “smart” cities. Okay, 5 cents goes to a good cause, but Jen is also reaping profits here. This is just like her stupid endorsement of the designer T-shirts being sold with partial profits going to charity. Look at Paul Newman who had is salad dressing line. ALL THE PROFITS went to charity. If Jen wants to be taken seriously in regards to her philanthropy she needs to take her own mitts out of the pie too.

Totally agree #88. What a waste of the environment. IT takes a lot of energy to transport, carry and recycle all that water. People can filter their own tap water and save money as well as the environment. What a STUPID cause to support! And, 5 cents is really cheap, btw. Yes, Miss Aniston’s major income last year came from Friends residuals and endorsements from the DUMBwater.
