Jennifer Aniston Takes Action For Healthy Kids

Smartwater and its spokesperson Jennifer Aniston just launched a limited-edition smartwater bottle, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the non-profit organization Action For Healthy Kids, a group that gets kids moving, eating well, staying hydrated and educated on what it takes to live healthy lives.

5 cents of each bottle sold will go directly to Action for Healthy Kids, with a minimum donation of $1 million. The bottle’s label was inspired by a mural Jennifer and a group of 20 kids from the AFHK program in Los Angeles did this past fall.

Jennifer shared, “I really learned so much from these kids during the art session and am grateful to be able to partner with smartwater to help such an amazing organization, one that makes an enormous difference in kids’ lives every day.”

Wow, I like how she doesn’t run to the media with all the charity she does, unlike Pitt and Jolie.

Jolie & Pitt are the biggest PR media wh@res around. They donate to the Pitt-Jolie foundation and call that donation.

Why you read notes about people you dislike? I don’t get it! When I read Just Jared I look for the information I’m interested in, not everything about all celebs. I read about Jen because I admire her. She inspires me in so many different ways. Nothing you say here can change that. She is very special to me and to a million other people that love her work and her way to be. You’re so boring, repeating the same thing… blablabla… of course Jen does a lot of charity, but what’s the point? Why don’t you bothered another celeb about it? You can’t forget about her because you’re so fanatic about her life, just because one day she was married with Brad Pitt and you are fans of Angelina, of a morbid way. Let’s turn this OLD page. It’s really wasting of time trying to say bad things about a woman that is so loved for so many people. Give up. Or not, if you don’t have anything else to do. I feel sorry for you. Really.

By the way, this is not a competition of charity. We all admire all kind of charity because any act of kindness is welcome, of Angelina, Jen or somebody else. Or not? Do you want to creat a Oscar for it? That’s insane! Jen, you’re really brave to deal with all this crap. Lucky you that you’re so special that can put all this away. Gosh!

ladylurksalot @ 06/23/2009 at 7:59 pm

Lord knows I can’t stand this woman, but I can give a little ( and I do mean a little) credit where credit is due. At least she’s making somewhat of an effort to benefit others in promoting this water. There’s a long way to go, but I guess it’s a start.

JILL, $5m IS TOO MUCH FOR A GREEDY, SELF-CENTERED, VAIN WOMAN, CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW MANY HAIR DO AND GREY COVERAGE SHE CAN ACHIEVE WITH THAT? I’M SURE THE KIDS DON’T WANT THAT MUCH, LET HER DONATE JUST $250k OR $500k (1/2m), THAT IS NOT TOO MUCH AND WON’T MAKE A DENT ON HER $100m. IF SHE CAN SPEND $50k ON HER HAIR, SHE CAN SPARE THE CHILDREN A LOUSY $500k OF HER MONEY AND THAT IS REAL CHARITY!!!

Jason (#126), you’ve a good point. Why use this all the time? Some time we wnat to talk about art, movies, culture and other things that are important too. Charity is essencial in this world, of course, and no doubt it’s important to do and talk about it, but not only about it.

Aniston is the epitome of mediocrity, she just got lucky with Friends and marrying Pitt. She’s a role model for every woman who was left for a younger, better lookiing woman (unfortunately quite a sizable majority today) and every woman who is not beautiful, or particularly talented, but who believes that if Aniston can realize the dream, so can they. She has a lot of money and hired the most powerful PR machine in Holllywood (beats having any real talent). They are the stars in this womans career. The years of her being Mrs. Pitt were easy, if the studios wanted him they’d throw a bone to her. But after the break up they saw a market for the “wronged ex-wife” role model and have capitalized on it for 4+ yrs. The rags (Star, In touch, etc.) are all to willing accomplices in keeping the triangle going strong (how many years and kids has it been?), knowing that nothing sells like Pitt & Jolie. Think she was in a prime position to break the mold of 40+ actresses in Hollywood but went the conventional route. She had (has) a die hard fanbase who would have supported her in anything, yet she went the surgical (I’m really not 40) route to stay relevant. No risks in her movie choices, make believe boyfriends to stay in the news, constant referrals to who she once was, unbridled hatred for the woman who finally gave her Ex the family he always wanted. It’s really, really sad.

The bottle’s label was inspired by a mural Jennifer and a group of 20 kids from the AFHK program in Los Angeles did this past fall.

..
What? All they did was color the word Water. The label is as boring as Aniston.
Plus if she really cared she would have said she would match any money given up to 1 million. But we all know Aniston doesn’t really care just good PR for her next stupid movie.

If you don’t like Jennifer then why do you waste your time reading about her and taking the time to make such horrible comments.
Grow up

This is not the very first time that Jen does charity. She have been helping kids with cancer for more than a decade (an this is just one of the many causes she supports). Why don’t you try to informe yourself better before judge someone? You don’t even know who she really is. When you know it, you’ll see she is a terrific woman with a great heart.

did we really need a whole post on this
yawn, more aniston pics plz

Every time that Jared mention something about Jen, the fans of Angelina get pissed of, like if it’s personal. Guys, are you getting crazy? It’s not a war: who is the best? They are different woman and each one has her value. I love Jen. Like an actress, like a person, just like she is. And this don’t have anything to do with Angelina. Why do you think when we say good things about Jen we are trying to offend Angelina? Don’t you see? Why don’t you put your energy to wish Angelina all the best instead wish to Jen all the worst. That’s negative, primitive and ridiculous. You should know that have all these bad feelings can kill you someday. It’s sick. And, Jen, congrats for this act, like the others, and congrats for who you are, girl. You’re stunning!

BOTTLED WATER IS BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. The 5cts they donate for every bottle does not make up for the cost of cleaning up and recycling the bottles of plastic.
.
On a remote beach recently and saw the RUBBISH which were washed up to shore comprised mainly polystyrene and plastic, mainly in the form of PLASTIC BOTTLES.
.
I find it hard to believe that tap water in the US tastes soooo bad that it is necessary to drink bottled DUMBwater - which incidentally comes from the FCUKING TAP anyway.
.

this is so funny, this woman is truly a joke, how desperate and dumb she actually is, and her dumb fans are hilarious, no wonder her career is still in high demand, it’s scares me to death that we have so many ignorant people in the world, and their leader is this dumb woman, oh god. (hey Jen,… tell your stupid, dumb fans, the sky is falling, hahahaha) watch them run or make up a reason to defend you.

She is not doing a great thing because she has a vested interest in the business as part shareholder. She invested $10m in the business and stands to get a cut of any profit made. It is in her interest that she promotes the business, the higher the profits the more dividend (returns) she gets. She has more to gain than the children and using the children or pretending to do charity work for children will only escalate the profits for her and the company.

and who said only brads fans don’t like this woman?, i am no ones fan, but it does seem to be more genuine and sincere when brads partner does it, this bimbo just wants attention, she has to pull stunts like this because she has nothing else to offer, she is as shallow as they come.

FILTER YOUR OWN WATER INSTEAD OF BUYING THIS EXPENSIVE BOTTLED WATER.

Its an advertising ploy disguised as charity for profit. Water is an essential commodity that should not be sold at such high profit margins.

Stop living in the past honey. This is the problem with fugly fans, this is 2009 but they continue to live in the past. Angie has won everything that matters this year, the most powerful celeb, the most beautiful, the top earner amongst the hw actresses, the no one supermom, no 1 humanitarian, no 1 action movie actress, the list goes on and it is only half the year gone. If the first half is anything to go by, it will be a record and glorious year for the Jolie-Pitts family. Don’t be too jealous trolls !!!

Tap Water vs Bottled Water
Choosing between tap and bottled water is ultimately a personal decision. You may not want to base your decision only on the taste.

Bottled water is not necessarily cleaner or safer than most tap water in the United States. That is the conclusion of “Bottled Water: Pure Drink or Pure Hype”- the Natural Resources Defense Council’s new study on contaminants in bottled water. While most bottled water is okay, says NDRC attorney Eric Olson, some brands may present threats to vulnerable subpopulations because they contain microbial contaminants. According to the report, bottled water consumption has tripled in ten years, with sales reaching $4 billion annually. Yet, bottled water is required to meet standards that are different than those for tap water.

Bottled water quality is regulated by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), while drinking water systems follow State and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. Carbonated water is exempt from bottled water standards, says the report. Instead, it is regulated under general sanitation rules.

fake charity anifraud @ 06/23/2009 at 8:52 pm

Anyone who believes Anifraud cares about charity is fooling themselves. This woman does whatever her PR guru’s tell her to do for publicity and nothing more. If she was so charitable with her money and not old crap out of her home or signed shirts, trust me it would be all over the news. Because charitable organizations use popular public persona’s to bring attention to their cause. Why? So we the ordinary folks are aware of such charity and hopeful we will donate to their cause because our favorite celebrity did.

To all you who claims Aniston is private with her donations are fools. If Aniston write a check for anything over $1k (example Pres. Obama’s campaign) it would be news, because she is the ex of an A-lister whom the media is still unfornately connecting them together. It would be big business for them. Just like Jolie-Pitt when they make a donation it is announced because the charity knows any mention of them brings awareness. The Jolie-Pitts don’t need to boast about their charitable contributions they are doing what they should be doing bringing awareness through their celebrity.

Unfortunately, Aniston does not do that. She uses charity when it benefits her. When her name is falling off the chart, promoting a movie/boyfriend or Brad or Angelina do something, her PR team is trying to (but always fail miserably) top it. For her & her PR folks it is a competition because keeping her connected with her ex and the made up scadal going is what is keeping Rachel Green alive.

Her fans are the ones that seems to be continuously duped by this woman and her expensive PR folks.

I think you misunderstood the number. 15 means higher ranking here (as lists of this kind often rank number one to 50 or 100).

@happynoww:

******************************************************************************

this is a funny post Happynow, ummm, did you forget she DOESNT have a KID?!!!!!! hahahaha

anyway, you cannot bash Angie and Brad selling their children’s photos, and Jen i think said something bad about that as well, she kinda put her foot in her mouth, because her best friend, Sheryl Crow sold her son’s photo as well for charity.

please, with technology these days, new parents are posting pictures of their babies left and right, at least the Pitt’s were able to help millions of people. I am sure their kids someday will feel honored. i would be grateful if they were my parents for donating on my account.

Every thing Aniston does is for pr reasons. She is desperate because because her last movie flopped. So they are stepping up their pr game. Even pulling the fake boyfriend game again. Aniston has no shame any more. The media know what she is up to still she pull these stinking pr cr@p trick any way.
Oh and by the way Jen forgot to put on her fake push-up bra so her tata’s can fall out.
