Just re-read what you’ve just posted (jen statement) . That’s what I call whinning. 40 years old mature woman wouldn’t talk about herself, her not being a whiner, her not like other “girl” , oh..GMAFB, “a girl” ?.
I’m nearly 10 years younger than her, but I feel too embarrassed to call myself a “girl” .
Well , It’s OK if you think that she never whines about wanting a man, but her action speak louder.

The important thing to me is see how happy she is. Having fun in the sets, having fun in her life, and still having time to her friends and also to do good things for others. You could not be better, Jen. I’m sorry for the ones that disagree, but you are the best, Jen.

@jaye: I don’t know. People surprise you sometimes Jaye. I don’t know if she wants children or not. I would think if she did, she has the money to do it. And I think she could remarry if she wanted. I know many single mothers or childfree who are actually very happy that way. They already have children or don’t want any so they don’t feel pressured by a biological clock to marry to have them. They don’t feel anything is missing on that score because they have children already or just don’t want any. And many of them that are financially independent aren’t too keen to remarry and mix finances or just having to make that committment all over again. Give away some of their independence that way. When you are married, no decision is yours alone. Everything is a compromise and women, usually take on the brunt of the work and compromise. Some women are very happy to stay single and date. Childless and singlemoms, the last women you would think of as being so called “desperate” are actually very empowered because they’ve gotten everything they want out of life and aren’t looking for another to fufill their dreams. I bet Jen is a fun person to date because she’s her own person and she’s not looking for anyone to do anything for her. She dates for companionship not agenda. She’s just living life. What can be greater than that? What can be more freeing?

@jaye: I am always surprised when I hear about people going to therapy. I’ve never been to therapy, so I guess I can’t judge what it can do for a person. But 20 years? My goodness! Why would a person need to go for that long? What happened that was so bad to her that she needs therapy that long?

She has that “I just got done f*%&ing in the backseat look”. The wild hair, dazed expression; all very telling.

It’s kinda sad though that all her fans can say about her is “Look at how lovely Jen is, look how great she looks for 40″ LOL nothing of substance whatsoever, as always. So glad i’m an Angie fan. She could have stuck to being just another pretty face, but knows there’s more to life than than because once your looks fade, you need to have something else going for you. Jennifer hasn’t seemed to get the memo on this yet. Still acting like a bed hopping 20 something. Not even that great looking either,good thing she has a nice body still but it wont last forever. She needs to grow up already.

There have to be some pretty traumatic things in her past to have her in therapy all these years; even starting at such a young age. She’s been in therapy more than half her life. She didn’t have a good childhood , she has said, particularly with her mother. She admitted that her mom use to call her ugly all the time. That probably was just the tip of the iceberg. There was a huge riff in her relationship with her mother; who knows what her relationship is with the rest of her family. People aren’t in lifelong therapy just to shoot the breeze about the weather.

I don’t know but the alternative is drug addiction, sexual promiscuity, inappropriate incest like behavior, affairs with married men, buying more babies than you can raise without hired help,having multi children out of wed lock and never speaking to your only living parent.
Better off in therapy than life as a joke.
