OlderJohnny Depp Premieres Public Enemies
Johnny Depp waves to the crowds at the 2009 Los Angeles Film Festival’s and Universal Pictures’ premiere of Public Enemies at the Mann Village Westwood Theatre on Tuesday (June 23) in Westwood, Los Angeles.
The 46-year-old actor recently revealed that he will be working on the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, and also an adaptation of the UK vampire TV series Dark Shadows. He also commented to MTV News that Tim Burton will be involved in directing that project.
Depp also mentioned that he will be in the upcoming film Rex Mundi and The Lone Ranger. Stills of Depp in character as the Mad Hatter in the upcoming Alice in Wonderland were released earlier this week.

I don’t like that he make millions of dollars and takes all that cash back to France. Yeah he tipped a guy 4,000 dollars. so what… PR thing. I love how people say Johnny stays out of the press.. Yeah he does not live in the US.. and note when he has to PROMO a movie he does what everyone else does. he talks about his family and his life with Vanessa.. YEP he does what he has to do sell the movie
OK hate on me all you want. I will see this film because he is a good actor, but everything I said is the truth..

Dark Shadows is not/ was not a UK produced television show not that it matters. It was produced in the United States from 1966-71; two U.S. theatrical movies and a 1991 mini series filmed in California. There is however an English branch of the fictional Collins family in the story. I did hear that this new Dark Shadows movie will be filmed at Pinewood Studios.
who cares about age? You can be old. What’s important is if he’s sexy and um for me, he’s not. I hear he’s a nice person and has had hits with Pirates but Dillinger won’t make any money. Sorry.
He’s like many big actors of his age. Still big but they have their own families now and are more into being with them as opposed to hitting the clubs. I put him with Clooney, Pitt, Reeves and even Will Smith. People cheer for their longevity and that they still do movies that matter but the level of fandom has dimmed a bit.
There is nothing sexy about a man who has kids out of wedlock. Hollywood is sick.

TWPumpkin should change his/her name to Bumpkin. People everywhere are having children out of wedlock - not just in Hollywood. And in my profession, I see children from traditional families who are suffering and messed up emotionally in many ways. Just because their parents are joined together by a civil contract, does not guarantee anything!
@JMO: For your information, Johnny Depp lives half the time in France (where his partner is from) and half the time in the US. And it really shouldn’t matter in this day and age what piece of land on this earth we choose to spend our lives and spend our money. We are all in this together. Secondly, you’re probably wearing clothing right now from an American corporation that takes American jobs away so that they don’t have to pay Americans decent wages AND can avoid paying US corporate taxes that go to fund programs for - yeah - Americans. Leave the actor alone.

I think he looks great!! Rocking that blue shirt and blue shades.. he’s always dressed eccentric, this is actually kind of “normal”-ish for him. I love how he can be any character in a movie and do it well, he is a great actor and he’s one of my faves forever. Pirates 4 whoo hooo!!! Jack Sparrow is his best character!

he is BiiiiiG!!!..and extremely talented….he really is talented …a gifted actor…this man could play any kind of character from a mad man to a dead man and than to a very sweet person…i totally love the way he acts…and I love his work till now!

Though he is a good actor all around, he is at best when he plays crazy characters . I plan to go see PE sometimes next week.Sorry but I don’t find him sexy anymore. His hair style does’t look good on him.
I don’t find him sexy or good looking but he is a great actor.. and I really don’t see a problem with him living outside of the U.S. and taking his money overseas… They are many other places to live than in the US and if he feels better in France than good for him, he has the money to live wherever he wants, as long as he is happy thats what he should care about…besides where would you want him to live in LA? so he can be in the tabloids every day…. He doesn’t have to live here just because he is American and makes American films.. besides like ed said, the world is to globalized to be naive enough to believe that all the money spent in America just stays here, and especially when it comes to companies and how they outsource their jobs to other countries or in some cases are owned by corporations from other countries…
I didn’t find him attractive till I saw a youtube vid of him signing autographs at the Public Enemies premiere. I’ve never seen any movies with him in it other than POTC. When he was signing autographs there was just something about him that was amazing. He was very nice.
