Natalie Portman Gets Awkward at ArcLight
Natalie Portman covers her face as she makes her way to the ArcLight garage in Los Angeles on Tuesday (June 23).
The 28-year-old Jerusalem-born actress has reportedly joined Darren Aronofsky’s (Requiem for a Dream/The Wrestler) upcoming film, Black Swan.
The plot revolves around a ballerina (presumably Nat), who competes against her rival, with tension mounting before their big performances. It’s a mystery, however, whether the rival is real or if the dancer is delusional.

How would you feel being hounded night and day just walking outside your house. Natalie did not ask to be hounded like that. It does not look like anyone was sitting next to her! The photo shows almost the whole back of the car. Unless she was sitting next to a cockroach in the car! Stupid comment! Paparazzi have ways of getting pictures inside the car. It is quite obvious the paparazzi backed Natalie into a corner and she is crouching and hiding her face in the backseat of the car and not losing her mind. Oh yeah…She looks like she wants attention hiding her face like that. Get real!

This will cheer you up. Pictures of Natalie out and about on Thursday (96/25). She looks like she had some rest and looks more chipper. I love her jeans she has on. They look like Juicy Coulture brand. Natalie has really slender hips. She can wear the designer jeans well. Natalie is thinner then Ratchel Saddlebag’s Bilson!

I saw that one too she does look wonderful my guess is pap gave her some space before they hounded at her. Seems as if she was less stressed. I like her purple sweater and jeans she looks comfortable while running her errands

I think she looks wonderful too. She seemed a lot more relaxed running errands and talking on her hands free cell phone device. She knows always the right thing to wear at any occasion. Always in good taste. I love her purple sweater too. I’m partial to purple anyway being a Laker’s fan! LOL!
Everyone can have an off day with what to wear Natalie was due for a bad hair day so to speak. It’s not like every picture she takes is bad unlike other celebrities who tend to wake up on the wrong side of the partner and look horrible all the time. But hey thats my point of view Natalie looks good.

Good point! I think it was rather down right and dirty what the paparazzi did to Natalie and hounding her when, she clearly was very uncomfortable with the paparazzi shoving the camera basically up her butt and in her face. No one is going to look their best in that situation. I still think she looked nice and was dressed well. She did not look like she was unbathed for days and just walked out of bed and threw any old thing on.
I just saw Goya’s Ghosts this afternoon and believe me. A lot of woman wished they looked like that! She has a svelte tiny frame with slight womanly curves with beautiful classic looking features to her face. Natalie is a natural type of person and does not feel the need to wear a ton of makeup out in public to please fans. She is just natural and dresses smart. She is not the vamp type and that is not her personna. She is more laid back and natural. To me that is more beauty then being known as a vamp.

BTW! Natalie performance in Goya’s Ghost’s was awesome!! She did a brilliant performace. I have not seen RB, Linday Lohan or Megan Fox, etc perform this caliber of talent. Words for thought. ;)
What puzzles me and the weird irony of this thread. This thread was supposed to be on Natalie’s new film she will be working on. “The Black Swan” directed by Darren Aronofsky, Darren Aronofsky directed, “Requiem For the dream”. A very good movie and he did the Wrester to which, I have not seen and plan on seeing. Natalie is a busy girl and good for her. Funny how no one mentioned her project she has going on. But, to only mention the negative that she looked so bad on a bad day she was having?? How sad really…I mean really??!!! How catty can some get? At least Natalie has good projects going as to some d-listers always being flashed in the media doing mundane tasks.
Looking forward to seeing Natalie’s new movie.
Shut the hell up! She is NOT ugly! She is infact one of the most NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL women in hollywood! Megan Fox is someone to be admired from a distance. Close up she looks like a MAN WITH MAKE UP! She is so overrated it’s unblieveable. Natalie on the other hand, is one of hollywoods great beauties.
I saw Goya and she was quite good in it she multi tasked at being one woman then playing her own daughter. I know Natalie is skiddish with press mainly bc of her relationship with Gael Garcia Bernel who ditched her for some foreign actress who he has a kid with now. Nat went to Argentina to see Gael on his movie set and was surprised to learn he was living with this actress model. The press had wanted reactions from her about this woman, they kept hounding her to the point where she pushed and told one reporter woman off. Enough is enough Gael didn’t protect her he just got into the car and wandered off. Natalie had to defend herself with the paparazzi and since then she hasn’t liked being around the press can’t say after that episode I blame her one bit. So if she doesn’t look entirely grand all the time oh well she is allowed to be a regular person. She’s only human.

Either way she looks like rubbish in those shots and thanks Gasol for the link to the other-she looks like she is doing her best Garbo impression talk about being a complete diva, for such a “star” she should be used to the paps in LA-she should learn from others just smile at them, give them a few shots and they will leave you alone.
They are good meltdown pictures however, so the paps would want more.

What lies first off go back to ok 2004 Natalie & Gael were in a relationship and he was also dating some argentina actress you can locate the video as they had one of her yelling at the press to get away from her while Gael rushed into the car. Less then a week or so later she left the man and now Gael has a kid with Dolories or whatever her name is the woman he was with when he was dating Natalie.
My last comment I had a typo wanted to say if you have anything remotely interesting to say. Sorry getting use to working on this apple computer different from the Dell I had before.
Truly Natalie could have any man she wanted she is a very busy woman and my guess being hurt too many times makes her skeptical about relationships.
