Farrah Fawcett Dies of Cancer at 62

After a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer, Farrah Fawcett died Thursday morning. She was 62.

Her spokesman, Paul Bloch, said she died at 9:28AM at the St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif.

At the 62-year-old actress’s bedside her longtime partner Ryan O’Neal and actress pal Alana Stewart.

Farrah, best known as one of TV’s Charlie’s Angels, was diagnosed with anal cancer back in September 2006.

RIP.

Farrah was such a great angel in Charlies Angels. She also played was it Susan Smith? or another mother who killed her children. Was a very serious movie and FF did an excellent job with the role as the mother. I admired her for being very serious about wanting meatier roles.
Today feel saddened to know she is gone.
After a long battle Farrah is with the Angels in heaven now.

Sad to hear she’s gone; no less on the same day as Michael Jackson. Quite unfortunate.

(Concerning “lala”’s comment: Too young? Considering her struggle with cancer, 62 was quite a respectable age. )

she was my very favorite actress. she had it all class, beauty ,body everything. so many people even strangers will come up to me and say i look just like her. there is a hint of that. mainly my hair,it is alot like hers. but i always take it as a wonderful compliment. my heart goes out to her family, i prayed for her everyday.
