Hayden Panettiere Needs More Signatures

Hayden Panettiere has teamed up with SocialVibe.com to get 1 million signatures for The Whaleman Foundation to stop all commercial and scientific research whaling.

So far, 165,000+ people have signed the petition but they need 1 million in the next year to reach their goal! To sign the petition, visit SocialVibe.com.

JustJared.com also uses SocialVibe to raise funds for Stand Up 2 Cancer. Check out the SV widget on the sidebar to the right and join and spread the word. It’s free and it’s for a good cause!

She’s so cute with glasses (:
Also, great to hear the papers being flipped and did she look into the camera once at least?

I really don’t understand this save the whale thing. I know japan are hunting relentlessly but how about the people in the northern part of the American continent Like the eskimos and the Aborgines of Canada whose main livelihood is to hunt whales. Hyden they’ve been doing trhis for centuries this is their main livelihood.And as far as I know the populations of whale did not diminished during those times. Should the the people in this part of the world deserved to lose their livelihood and their culture just because a whinny b grade American actress felt icky watching whales dieng for a good cause in that region. You see when you campaign for something like this think of the consequence you nitwit. when youy try to campaign to reenact that law see all sides not just yours.

It’s a good cause; might as well support it. Thanks for this post.

Hayden is doing a great thing, using her influence to do some good in the world. It’s a worthy cause, it’s something she’s clearly passionate about, and she’s using social media to spread the word. Props to her, props to SocialVibe, props to JustJared for the exposure :-)

i definately signed!

LOL, I love how she has the glasses on. . .is it to make her look more smart and serious. Whatever. I think it is great that she is supporting this cause, and it is much more believable than that thing she did with Bristol Palin. . .which I thought was a joke.

i´m from Brazil…
Since Haydén appears in midia that i think of the possibility that we was (i tninhk that write this way …) to the same family
look our last names is pratically the same and she sayed that her family´s is from Italy .. just like mine
So maybe it´s was real …
Who knows…

This is pretty cool. it’s a great way to start helping the cause and glad I have the chance to help by signing this petition. SocialVibe and Hayden has definitely made it easy to help the community.

Excited to hear how it goes for Hayden and her cause.

she is reading from a script that is the reason she has glassas on…

this is such a good cause (:
and why is it such a big deal she’s wearing glasses? just like normal people, she may need them. it shouldn’t be a bad thing.

great cause! and how fitting - nice to see the cheerleader trying to save the world. =)

Shes so gorgeous

why is she wearing glasses… yerk she looks sooooooo old

Awww she looks pretty and dorky with the glasses lol totally signing that petition now.

She’s even cuter with glasses ♥

Social Vibe and it’s employees are int he guise of charity, but they sure do seem to party with their funds quite a bit given the blogs they post. Just another shallow H’Wood BS thing.

Want to really help, get American’s more health coverage and help um humans.

@marla:

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.
Get more information on Inuits and Aborigines before you talk about them.
And second: Japan kills whales like crazy,and they only use around 1/4 of the killed whale.

@marla:
What a rude and stupid thing to say. Aboriginal whaling is nothing like commercial whaling. It has nowhere near the same scale as commercial whaling which is why it never threatened the species. Also, aboriginal whaling is for survival and every part of the animal is used. Commercial simply is not. If you look on YouTube you will see that someone has already put that question to Hayden and she was clearly informed, unlike yourself.

she is a great girl.you go girl!
