Madonna: Crying Over Michael Jackson

Celebrities are releasing statements via their reps regarding Michael Jackson’s shocking death.

“I can’t stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless.” — Madonna

“I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible. I am heartbroken for his children, who I know were everything to him, and for his family. This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me.” — Lisa Marie Presley, who was married to Michael in the mid-1990s

“My heart is overcome with sadness for the devastating loss of my true friend Michael. He was an extraordinary friend, artist and contributor to the world. I join his family and his fans in celebrating his incredible life and mourning his untimely passing.” — Brooke Shields, who briefly dated Michael

“I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news. For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don’t have the words. Divinity brought our souls together on ‘The Wiz’ and allowed us to do what we were able to throughout the ’80s. To this day, the music we created together on Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad is played in every corner of the world and the reason for that is because he had it all…talent, grace, professionalism and dedication. He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I’ve lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him.” — Quincy Jones, who produced Michael’s Thriller album

“I’ve known Michael since we both were about 13 years old. He once told me that because we went through similar experiences as teenagers, I was the only person who ever understood him. Words can’t express the sadness I feel right now. My prayers go out to his family and his children.” — Donny Osmond

“I can’t find the words right now to express how deeply sadden [sic] I am by Michael’s passing. We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music, but of all music. He has been an inspiration to multiple generations and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.” — Justin Timberlake

“This is such a tragic loss and a terrible day. The incomparable Michael Jackson has made a bigger impact on music than any other artist in the history of music. He was magic. He was what we all strive to be. He will always be the king of pop!” — Beyonce Knowles

MJ was truly a star and he will continue to be a legend forever !!

So sad to hear about his death. To the cynics, Madonna had known him for a long time and had defended him when that documentary came out.

I can not beleive that MJ is gone…
it is still a shock to me and to everyone around.
One thing is for sure though..
MJ will always be remembered… He may be gone but he will NEVER be forgotten..
The King of Pop will always be alive through the hearts of his fans, friends and family.
He made the world a better place, for you adn for me and the entire human race…

WE WILL MISS HIM.

i wasn’t his biggest fan…i really didn’t respect the guy enough.
but i can’t deny the fact that he was a legend…a musical genius. that’s a given. the world has lost a legend today.
i was out at the bar in halifax tonight and most of the songs played were all michael jackson…it was nice to see everyone forget about his faults and get up and dance and just have a good time…there was even a moonwalking competition.
rest in peace michael!

I hope everyone knows he was not found guilty and that the first allegation of him molesting a boy was weak. The boy’s father was caught on tape talking about how he was going to destroy michael and score by doing this. his family ruined michaels spirit and career. since then many families hopped on the bandwagon hoping to get 22 million like the first family..

What a sad day.
he’s inspired so many people out there musicians, non musicians.
Some people still to this day continue to be hateful towards a legend as MJ.
Despite whatever allegations he endured in his lifetime, one thing
that no one can deny him of was his talent and pure brilliancy and passion for music, dance, entertainment, and so much more.
I hope his kids know what a wonderful father they had.
He’ll forever be missed, but his music will live on for many generations.

He is and always will be the King of pop.. not just pop but all of music.

Rest in peace;

Another thing to add. i feel horrible for Farrah Fawcett as well.
such a brave and strong soul.
I know everyone is talking about mj’s death
but let’s not forget the two horrible incidents that happened on this day.

we lost a great musician
and a wonderful actress.

prayers and blessings go out to both their families.

may farrah and michael rest in peace.

It made me sad to hear he was dead … RIP

We provided a nanny for his children a few years ago and we will miss him. He touched so many lives and this world will never be the same.

omg, still can’t beleive… I stayed at home today and was relaxing with some music channel. They kept on playing Michael’s songs, and I just turned the music so loud enjoing it… Then I’ve opened the net and I saw the news. Damn, all of my good wibes were wiped away ;(. I’m so sad. But so happy at the same time, ’cause his music will never die. He was my mother fav artist, is one of those I respect too, and be sure my daughter (still in my belly :) ) will know about Michael Jackson music (will she like it, it will be on her to choose).
RIP Michael

I am at a lose with words. Michael was and still ismy idol. today is a terible day, we Michaels fans and the music world lost the king of pop, but he will NEVER be forgoten! Michael was an insporation to all genoations of music. I have been crying ever since I hered the horable news. I have prayers going out to his children, family and friends. I love you michael. He will live on forever in my heart. May Michael rest in piece. this juct sucks!

I CRIED, THIS IS AWFUL…..ITS THE WORST NEWS YET…

MJ CONTRIBUTED SO MUCH TO MUSIC….IT IS ONLY THE OTHER DAY I WAS ENJOYING HIS ART….

MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO ALL WHO APPRECIATE AND LOVED MJ. “A TRUE LEGEND AND A LOST STAR”.

Michael Jackson´s music is still amazing hearing all the songs he created over the years.
Just amazing even as a kid he was something really special manages to bring a smile even now.
To bad he turned into such a child fondling freak in his later life.
The only man in history to have gone from a African American man to a white woman in one lifetime.

MAdonna is a liar! She never hide the fact that she cannot stand Mickael JAckson and now that he is gone she would not stop crying! Give me a break, what about he time you said that he was the most boring singer and that the only thing you could talk about him was about money? Michael is he King of pop, Madonna is her madgesty the queen of fakeness and boredom

The people who really will be crying and missing him will be his creditors. He was in debt 400-500 million dollars. Now all those people will get ATIFFED, just as stiff as he is right now on the coronor’s autopsy table. LOL

I’m so shocked !! RIP Michael Jackson. God bless you and your family.

love u always..

Lennie, Madonna never said that about Michael. She had said in numerous interviews especially early in her career that she was a big Michael Jackson fan. She defended him when asked about that controversial BBC documentary which led to those molestation charges. They were even planning to record a song together in the early 90’s. Madonna has always said she had great admiration for Michael and Prince. Stop spreading hate. This is not the time for it.

Where we’re all these “true friends” the last few years of his life? Sheesh.

Michael will live on forever and will be missed not only his family and love ones but also by his fans all over the world.

tragic loss @ 06/26/2009 at 8:15 am

Such a tragic loss! May his soul rest in peace!

From an early age he became ours. He has shaped music and impacted our lives. We made him a God but forgot he was a man, a human being just like us.

Too BAD he’s never had the chance to live a normal life, if only for a single day. We as fans contribued to his success and unfortunately to his death.

Now, for the first time in his life, he’ll finally have a chance to rest in peace.

RIP indeed MJ.

Maybe MJ was a god to you, Ken, but I don’t think you speak for the rest of his fans. He DID have a chance to live a normal life, he just chose his career path instead…nothing wrong with that, but don’t try to blame his fans for his life or the choices he made. I, for one, didn’t contribute to his death, as you say. And as far as resting in peace is concerned, that’s a nice fairytale and I’m sure it makes people feel better, but I don’t think MJ was a believer in the God of heaven and earth, so good luck with that. I mourn his death, but I also mourned his life…very tragic.

I’m gonna miss Michael so much, I was a huge fan. I made a tribute to him
http://www.denimblog.com/denimblog/a-tribute-to-michael-jackson.html it’s such a shock that he has passed away :(

uhhuh right. @ 06/26/2009 at 8:31 am

@ Kim, you are so right. Where were these supporters when he was being charged with molestation charges.
