Michael Jackson Dead at 50
Michael Jackson died on Thursday afternoon (June 25), according to Los Angles Times. He was 50.
Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest and wasn’t breathing when paramedics arrived at his Los Angeles home shortly before 12:30 p.m. Paramedics were unable to revive him and the King of Pop was pronounced dead by doctors after arriving at UCLA Medical Center.
Jackson was the seventh child of the Jackson family. He is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson II.
You will be missed, Michael. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family and friends. RIP.

I just saw what appeared to be the paramedics and firefighters at his home when the 911 call was placed. I found it ironic when I watched this video (on NBC) that a van pulled up just at the same time that read..”STARZ tours”….I will bet my life that within the hours, someone from that tour bus will be selling the video or photos from that moment.

This is sad news and I will pray for his soul. His Thriller album was the very first album I (well my mother) purchased for me. I remember we went to several stores to find the album and it was SOLD OUT! I remember the excitement I felt when I heard Billie Jean on the radio. I remember trying to stay up late to see his Thriller video on a Friday video show on NBC (but I fell asleep). I remember playing his and his brothers’ albums and being amazed at their talents. I remember his moonwalk on Motown special. Those were the golden days of music…
I choose to remember Michael for his work and not his personal life. Its all in God’s hands…but Michael left a legacy no one will EVER forget! Thanks for the music, Michael. RIP

You are an idiot and I hope something strike you hard. If you don’t have anything nice to say, crawl back into the hole you came out of twit and that goes to any other hater or racist.
This man was a deeply troubled person. He was a genius when it came to music, but there was something that wasn’t right. I just feel his friends and associates tried to protect him because maybe they knew of his vulnerability and his discontent with himself as a person. He certainly tried to remake his physical image, but apparently was never satisfied. Maybe a psychiatrist would have been better for him than just a group of ‘yes’ people. It’s too late now.
There will always be the legacy of his music and the shadows of controversy that followed him wherever he went. My condolences to his family who despite their differences with him, I’m sure they loved him very much. Once of his brothers has already said he regrets that he hasn’t spoken to Michael in ’sometime’. That’s a lesson to everyone; once someone dies regrets mean nothing. We are never guaranteed that we will have time to make things right.
Although this is sudden, I’m not surprised; nor am I sadden by his death . Death will come to everyone eventually, what I am sadden about is the road that his life took. His life has been under tremendous stress for many many years and he’d lived it in a vacuum. He never had a normal life; I’m not sure that after awhile he knew what ‘normal’ was. Although some may have envied him his money and success, I don’t think it was a particularly happy life.
Dang this man chnaged the music industry singlehandedly and by breaking the color barrier at that MTV channel.
How ironic now that the music industry is in shambles that Michael would pass. it really is the end of an era. His music was the soundtrack of 2 generations (don’t forget the Motown years)

MJ was just a year younger than me. I grew up listening to his music and his talent is undeniable. His rendition of “Ben” brings tears to my eyes. RIP Michael… you’ve got a friend in me.
People need to get a life. OK. So he knew how to do things on stage and do promo videos. But let’s see, 5 albums since going solo. In how many years? 25? [not counting those Motown years] No new studio album in 8 years. His last two albums didn’t do to well. He [or sony] released over a dozen compilations just on the 5 solo albums. [BTW, the "King Of Pop"
