Thank you Michael for sharing your God given talent with the world. Rest now until our Heavenly Father returns to claim his own. 1Thessalonians 4:13-5:11.

That pic is from the “In the closet” video . I watched it on youtube last night . I had totally forgot naomi Campbell was the lady in the video.

RIP MJ love that picture. still cant belive it. Hope he is in peace now.

# 6

Great picture of the great one. I wonder if there will ever be another one quite like him. Oh, I miss the 70s and 80s for the music alone. Life was so much simpler then too.

Love the MJ Pic on the Magazine….
-
He was really good looking black and when he turned white he was still kinda cute, wonder what happened after that…
-
I pray he made peace with God before he passed for FAME can distract us from the Eternal knowing our life here is not forever…

A great, great picture. It was his best looking, perhaps happiest time. May his soul find peace whereever we go on the oher side.

vertical jazz hands.

@LolaSvelt:

mike will make so many covers in the coming days and weeks…but i think i will like this one the most!

In a way, I’m happy he’s getting the attention he’s getting now. He completely redefined music and dance and with the best will in the world no one has yet grazed his genius or his achievements in music and I doubt anyone ever will.

However, I’ve got to say some of these tributes and sudden love by the media and public is getting quite nauseating just because the hypocrisy is outstanding.

When he needed the love and support and understanding, no one gave it to him. The media and public alike including all these sudden ‘dear old friends’ took pleasure in anticipating his downfall and reporting the next salacious story with glee. Now, he’s suddenly a ‘beloved’ icon.

I wish he knew he was this ‘beloved’ and that all this people would be ‘deeply affected’ by his death, when he was alive and living a few miles away from many of them.

oh well, that’s showbiz for you. Exist to tear down the living and pay tributes to the dead.

I love you michael and thanks for all!
Best performer, dancer, singer of all time!

I`m still dazed over the whole episode…it just seems sureal. wish it wasn`t true. Wish he`d been given more time to have found peace and happiness here on earth. Wish the world had more compassion for those who are a little different.

RIP King Michael Jackson

This is all just so tragic and sad. I still can’t believe he’s dead. This is all just so sudden! But may he finally rest in peace and find happiness. The contributions and talent he gave to the world shall always be remembered . His music and dancing will live on forever. RIP Michael Jackson. :-(

Why waste $$$ honoring a pedophile. Sick, sick, sick.

RIP- a true legend is gone. but he will live on forever.

King of Pop FOREVER

Ughhh. I’m sad.

@wtf:

Both cases were thrown out becuase they were lies.
Evan Chandler, the first boy that said this lie about MJ just confessed yesterday that his dad made him lie about him being molested so they can cash in.

Same thing with that poor Latino family that tried to swindle a lost man who was very wrong to share his bed with kids, but NO DOUBT in my mind he was and is innocent of these liars. The truth will come out more and more now that he is gone.

RIP Michael Jackson

Well said Naomi. I have thought the same thing since his death. The world is full of hypocrites and people filled with envy and jealousy when you are at the top. May he rest in peace. Will miss him.

He was the most talented man ever lived

RIP Michael Jackson

I liked MJ, but this over the top tribute stuff is getting out of hand. There were American politicians who had a moment of silence. Please. That was a bit too much.
.
Respect him, but lets not get carried away.

@Naomi:

Exist to tear down the living and pay tributes to the dead.

That is a true quote

I absolutely, positively do not get this. Yes, I thought MJ was an icon and defintely changed the music industry, but the media is acting like it did when JFK died or MLK. Give me a break. This is absolutely ridiculous.

I love MJ. But I sure as hell don’t care to here what Kobe or oscar delhoya have to say about him. yuk. Musicians, yes, ordinary people, yes. but not these dipsh*ts.

I loved MJ so much. So sad about his passing. Beautiful cover though. RIP KING OF POP

@ susan: ‘but the media is acting like it did when JFK died or MLK. Give me a break. This is absolutely ridiculous.”

Susan, I know I may be a bit young to completely understand the era of Michael Jackson, but for people about 20 and under this the most tragic major death that has taken place in our lifetimes. We were too young when Princess Diana died so to younger people this death is a big deal. And we also have to realize that Michael was the most famous man in the world, the most famous deserve this kind of coverage with their deaths.
They’re simply the best, not a normal person on the street.

Wow, great photo. They should make a poster out of that one.

wowww a great one. I will get this mag..rest in peace Michael !!

@irish girl:

You do realize how much $$$ these magazines can make by putting him on the cover, right?

Bastardus Grull @ 06/27/2009 at 6:52 pm

If you don’t like tribute pages then don’t click on articles about recently deceased stars.

Bastardus Grull @ 06/27/2009 at 6:56 pm

BTW, wtf are you people to tell others how to mourn anyway?

no doubt that it will sell
they interviewed a lot of ppl quickly

I’m getting sadder about this by the day. Watching VH1’s MJ videos marathon today brings back his genius in a way that makes it all so sad. Thoughts and prayers to the whole Jackson family, who must be in complete shock. Michael you will never be forgotten. You shared your incredible talent with us for many years, but you are gone far too soon. The world will never forget you. May you find peace.

Beautiful pic cover. Very well choosen. A nice way to remember him.

bless my heart feels so haevy i feel like i lost a close friend…like a family member

Love this cover. Still can’t believe he’s gone!!

stickin with a name @ 06/27/2009 at 10:06 pm

90% of you wouldn’t be showing him this support if he were alive and being accused of molesting another child. So spare me.

Now that he’s dead we all love him? Right.

shoes4life @ 06/27/2009 at 10:14 pm

There will never be nor is there another entertainer like Michael Jackson. He was definitely one of a kind and the only really, truly creative artist alive who has impacted not just our country but the WORLD!

He stardom was global and no one has ever accomplished that, no one!

God bless the Jackson family in this sad but joyous time. I say joyous because Michael may not have had a chance to make a come back (to me he never left) through touring but his name is being praised and acknowledge BIG TIME in his passing, sad but great!

FOXY BROWN @ 06/27/2009 at 10:21 pm

I have always loved Michael Jackson–always have always will!!!

I love that the TV Guide and Time covers both show him at a very minimalist time—hair back from his face, plain shirt. Very nice tributes.

and p.s. I could not BELIEVE it when I heard “Billie Jean” for the first time. That was a song that everyone busted a move to. And if you deny it, you’re a LIAR! LOL!!

#43 wakeup. this is how society and the media treat huge stars. Build them up to break them down, and when they die… build them back up.

@LolaSvelt:

Michael…it’s too soon..we got some preachers that raise people
from the dead…….should’ve called….We love you and will miss you…
I want to wave goodby on the funeral route…You Are American Royalty..
We Love You Man! I expect it to be jumpin up there, I suppose the King needed an excellent performer….Enjoy your new home..PEACE OUT V !

i can not more than agree with you. well said and well done.
it is a tragic how entertainment was made tear someone life in order to get known. i was even saddened with the facts that many artists jumping all over to say something about him when it is no longer needed.
i am even getting worried for his children. hopefully they are not be dragging into this turmoil child custody. let God bless his soul and his family. RIP Michael Jackson.

I agree with Naomi!!
They are actually making money out of his death now…never gave him this support while he was alive!
The only ones how really loved him were his fans…and I hope he knew this while alive…..
The words I think he would use for the media now are:”BEAT IT!!!!!!!!”"

and by the way…he was very handsome…I don’t know how exactly or whom exactly convince him he should mutilate his face…if they loved him so much while alive…why didn’t they help him with a psichologist….or teach him yoga or any other technique to face the this world’s stress?they just let him slowly destroy himself…giving him all the pills he asked for…taking advantage he was hypochondriac.
Shame on you people…you are no peaple you are vultures and vampires that sucked his life out of him.

i love u m.j i cant stop criing about u .true i was criin until i slept u touched us in a way that no one can……..rest in peace..R.I.P M.J
we will miss and your childhood.

the world has lost a living legend a second Peter Pan as he was in his soul as he sad that’s why he named his ranch NEVERLAND and maked that one of the most beautiful places in the world he was singing and dancing for all the people in the world but now he will sing to the angels in the heaven. Thankyou for sharing your amazing talent with us!
Have inspired me Thankyou!

R.I.P!

Your Missed So Much!
Lots of love!

Gizpepper @ 06/28/2009 at 7:02 pm

I never cared for him either way but I think it is a sad commentary on this country that soldiers, from any our wars, won’t get 1/1000th of the attention when they are carried home in a body bag that this performer is getting at his death. I guess telling anyone who will listen that “you support the troops’ takes care of it. I am not surprised just saddened.

i love michael jackson. no matter what legal issues he went thru, he was still an amazing entertainer and he will ALWAYS be the best. no one will ever be better. rip michael jackson

SASHE THE GREAT @ 06/28/2009 at 10:41 pm

I WAS IN SHOCK WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE NEWS OF MJ. BUT I BELIEV HE DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED FOR THE WONDERFUL THINGS HE DID FOR MUSIC AND FOR BEING THE AMAZING HUMANITARIAN HE WAS. IT REALLY SADDENS ME THAT HE WASN’T PRAISED FOR THIS WHILE HE WAS ALIVE. BUT I BELIEVE IN AMERICA PEOPLE TAKE THE PEOPLE WHO MADE OUR WORLD THE WAY IT IS NOW FOR GRANTED…BUT IN TIME MAYBE WE WILL LEARN TO CELEBRATE THE LIVES OF THE WORKS OF PEOPLE IN THE FLESH INSTEAD OF IN THEIR DEATHS

Whether or not Michael Jackson is/was a pedophile, is no one’s business now. That is something between him and his maker. Everyone of us has done things we are not proud of, but for us we don’t have a camera following us around to document every move.

Let’s remember Mchael for his fabulous dancing, which still leaves me in awe, his inovative ideas, his gentle character, may he rest in peace.

I’ll leave it to to god or whatever higher power there is to judge or deal with Michael.

For the past decade he has been a outcast for most in the entertainment, but then he dies, and everyone is a fan.

Go figure.

For the past decade he has been a piranha for most in the entertainment, but then he dies, and everyone is a fan.

Go figure.
