Robert Pattinson: It’s Another Vamp-Off
Under a hoodie and pair of shades, Robert Pattinson arrives on the set of Remember Me in New York City on Friday (June 26).
The 23-year-old British actor, who plays Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise, was insulted by fellow vampire Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton on HBO’s True Blood.
“He’s a pu—!” Moyer told Marie Claire in this month’s issue. “He’s the Slim-Fast, Diet Coke of vampires.” (Moyer was likely referring to Edward, not Robert himself.)

bill compton’s a real vampire. edward cullen is a pʊssy. the sparkly bish doesn’t even have fangs. LOL.. true blood’s way to popular for dude to be jealous. and they ADULT fans, not prepubescent little girls.

Holy crap! He’s getting hotter and hotter everyday. If he doesn’t get the Sexiest Man Alive title and all other titles in the universe, etc., something bad is going to happen. I cannot believe that this guy’s every move spells SEXY!!! I don’t blame those cuckoos out there as I can see the world’s obssessiveness over him just by a simple smile with those cute pair of dimples. Perfection to the max!!!

Yeah, i think i don’t blame Moyer for saying that. Because being a vampire in True Blood is much more realistic than vampire in Twilight. In Twilight he’s like a lost soul vampire. Too stiff!

I like true blood- but I watch it for the supporting characters. I like sookie, but bill is boring and not at all attractive to me. However vampire eric is really hot, come to think of it I think just about all the men on the show are better looking than bill. He was poorly cast. Whatever I’m sure he’s a nice guy in real life. I did watch twilight recently and loved it! I see why all the girls are crazy about Rob Pattinson!

Holy Moses, I think this is the first time I agree with FFM/#52!
I’ve watched Twilight and the first season of True Blood. While Moyer is right if you compare the characters moral compass, I have to say the “Bill” is wimpier. He gets himself into trouble the first episode and Sookie has to save him, his big attempt at saving her has him walking across a field and frying in the sun, and Bill is really a wimpier name for a vampire. I’ve really wanted to root for Bill, but I find myself rooting for the shape-shifter because he is ‘cooler’.

Edward was no p#@%y…. a one hundred year old vampire who finally finds someone that melts his heart and opens him up to new feelings, but he never touches her anymore than a soft kiss or holding her carefully. He can read every human’s mind but only drowns in her eyes, that may be sound barfy to those of you who have not read the Twilight saga or are not fans. That would require serious intestinal fortitude, considering the way Edward felt about Bella mentally and physically, more than I can say for most guys and most male vampires. Refer to the part in Twilight where Bella is followed by a group of up to no good guys and who knows what might have happend to her, if Edward had not shown up. he wanted to kill those guys, but he was tough and walked away. He could have easily anihilated all of those men. Then, in Eclipse when Bella is ready, and he refuses, again, to protect her… that’s more than most guys would worry about. Edward has more balls than most thirsty vampires and Diet Coke is better than most diet drinks.
