Robert Pattinson: It’s Another Vamp-Off
Under a hoodie and pair of shades, Robert Pattinson arrives on the set of Remember Me in New York City on Friday (June 26).
The 23-year-old British actor, who plays Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise, was insulted by fellow vampire Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton on HBO’s True Blood.
“He’s a pu—!” Moyer told Marie Claire in this month’s issue. “He’s the Slim-Fast, Diet Coke of vampires.” (Moyer was likely referring to Edward, not Robert himself.)

I watched “True Blood” last week for the first time. Now I see this silliness and won’t tune it in again. Well to be truthful, I didn’t like it.
The vamps in it did nothing for me at all, the fangs look ridiculous and they drink fake blood. At least Edward Cullen hunts..
But someone else already said it. Who needs this when we have Robert Pattinson to look at. Btw, I’m well over 21, so keep they snide 13 year old comments to yourself.
Okay I am developing a headache here. I would not dignify that with a response. And if I did it would be a hell of a good one to bring me lots and lots ad losts of attention. We are talking about two very different types of vampires here. there is no competition and really since they don’t even exists this is so silly. Like arguing over starwars and stuff that doesn’t exists.. Rob to me looks like an ordinary dude. It’s amazing how people can’t sperate him from his character.

Love that man. I never knew how tall Rob really was until now. He is so handsome and that smile is very sweet.
Rob’s age is a plus compared to Hugh Jackman, but yes, I think he’s hotter than him and sweet and sensitive. I hope he stays that way, and I hope he’s not a player, he’s gonna lose me there. I don’t care who you are, don’t think you can treat women like that just because you can, but he has not shown that so far, as much as we know…. I’m waiting to see how he treats Kristen, especially if she gives up her boyfriend for him.
im sorry stace #105 but the robsten crap is not even official yet. how can you know that he’s cheating on her when the “relationship” itself seems like an illusion? this is a publicity stunt. why are people not seeing that?
I don’t know this guy, but get attracted cause his face in every magazine i’ve seen… and checked to internet, wow… no wonder all woman in love with him, he’s so tempting to BITE for :D
come on Moyer’s words were Edward as a vampire! Even Robert Pattinson himself made a comment about Edward not being vampir-y enough or words to that effect, and he wanted to improve him on screen, but production wants to be true to the book. Pattinson did try to put a “vampire” quality on Edward in the movie.
Having said that, I hope Moyer DOES NOT criticize Robert Pattinson at all!!
True Blood is popular not because of its actors but because of its content - - - has lots of raw sex and that kind of stuff.
I don’t understand why people are dissing Rob. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We (Rob fans) think that he’s hot cos in OUR EYES, he is! End of story. By the way, I had not heard of Rob, had not read any of the Twilight books when I happened to watch the Twilight movie cos there was no other good movie on flight. But I was sold on Rob immediately cos I thought he played Edward Cullen very well - with his intensity . In fact he embodied Edward - who also did not think much of his looks (it was Bella who kept thinking that he was devastatingly beautiful and dazzling!!) I find Rob very hot and sexy because despite his rising star status, he remained humble about his looks and popularity. Not to mention he has a great sense of humour ! So to all those who don’t like Rob - then stop looking at him! And please stop dissing! As for Moyer, despite him taking off his clothes for the True Blood, I get more tuned on watching Rob with his clothes ON - any day! Bite me :P

From a perspective of someone from the younger audiences, I also believe Twilight is ( if slightly) more child- friendly. I personally have many friends who have never heard of true blood.
