Zac Efron Sails Into The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud
Zac Efron sets sail at Marina del Rey in Los Angeles on Friday (June 26) — most likely to prepare for his role in the adaptation of the novel The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.
In the flick, the 21-year-old actor plays the title character, cemetary caretaker Charlie St. Cloud, whose world gets shaken up by beautiful Tess Carroll, a sailor who had plans to be one of the first women to circumnavigate the globe solo.
Zac will be teaming up again with his 17 Again director Burr Steers and production will begin in August in Vancouver.

nobody has long hair anymore, we have to get serious now zac…
Actors grow their hair out all the time if they need it for a new role they will be playing and Zac has said some time back he was growing it out for just that reason. Also, there are some who have long hair…Antonio Bandaras comes to mind.
Off the top of my head–Emile Hirsch grew his hair long for “Taking Woodstock” and Brad Pitt grew his long for “Troy.” I’m sure there are many others. It’s part of being an actor.

#80 I don’t know what “vang” is. But how can you tell he needs more VANE (small flag worn at each mast head to show wind direction) and leeward (direction away from the wind) heel (tip to one side) from these photos?
In these pics, looks like the paps got them going out and coming in. You don’t actually see them “sailing.” Probably because they went far out for the actual sailing part and the paps couldn’t get clear pics.
I’m confused. Someone said Zac was in Calabasas. Another site said he was in LA. And someone else saw him at an Olive Garden restaurant in Santa Maria, CA.
Where are you, Zac?
On JJJ it is reported—with pictures and a thread—that he was in Calabasas, CA yesterday at the Olive Garden with a friend. So, it would seem that maybe he is visiting family and friends right now. Maybe he will be in SLO for the holiday weekend.
Both Oceanup and Celeb Gossip say the pictures are in LA.
