OlderMariah Carey is an Obsessed Man
Mariah Carey dresses like a man and shoots her new “Obsessed” music video outside New York City’s Plaza Hotel on Monday (June 29).
In the video, the 39-year-old diva dresses a lot like Eminem. The singer seems to be responding to Slim Shady’s unflattering references to her and her husband Nick Cannon from Eminem’s track “Bagpipes From Baghdad.”
In the song “Obsessed,” Mariah reportedly tells Eminem: “Why are you so obsessed with me/ Boy, I wanna know/ Lying that you’re sexing me/ When everybody knows/ It’s clear that you’re upset with me….You’re delusional/ Boy, you’re losing your mind.”
The video was directed by Brett Ratner, who originally cast Andy Samberg for the role of the man. But because it’s presumably anti-Eminem, he backed out and Mariah filled in for the role of the man.

This is about the coolest thing I have seen a singer do in a long time. It takes guts to put on such a mask - only a woman who is confident of herself would do it. Let’s look at Britney Spears who tries looking sexy and just looks ****** making herself a ridiculous figure … but Mariah looks stunning as a man too!
