Michael Jackson’s Final Rehearsal Pictures
Two days before suffering a cardiac arrest, Michael Jackson goes through a run-through during his final concert rehearsal at the Staples Center on Tuesday (June 23) in Los Angeles.
The 50-year-old entertainer was rehearsing for his planned shows in London. After going into cardiac arrest on June 25, Michael later died at the age of 50 at UCLA Medical Center.
This concert looks like it would have been amazing. We’ll miss you, Michael!
On Sunday night, Michael’s younger sister Janet Jackson paid tribute to the King of Pop at the 2009 BET Awards.

If that rehearsal is for real….i still can’t believe it MJ looks good and healthy. I hope his manager release and use that pictures/rehearsal to tv or movie and have the money for the kids future. I know i will raise much. RIP
So sad and heartbreaking.
He looks happy….. good for him, that the last rehearsal made him happy.
But it’s sooo sad to look at these pictrures.
You will be missed! We all miss you so much!!
Hope you found your peace now :(
why have the media all of a sudden come out with Michael jacksons past?? it is irrelevant, the poor man is dead, let him rest in peace now. He will always be a hero in my eyes, but does it really matter what sexuality he is, or why his skin colour changed or why he changed his face with surgery and why his hair resembles western european hair rather than negro hair. It does not matter because his eccentricity is what makes him Michael Jackson, and where was everyone when he was alive and suffering?. So just remember his legacy and unique music-that is a tribute worth making. RIP U LEGEND.
You’ll b strongly missed…REST IN PEACE Michael & thank you so very much for everything!
This is breaking my heart. He looked so happy, the big come back!
I can’t belive he’s dead!I loved him so much!
Rest in peace Michael!
I loved him! He was the best. How sad when you here his dad speak. All he talks about is his new record label. Ever heard of bad timing Joe! I grew up with Michaels music. He will always remain special to me. RIP Michael.
MISS YOU MICHAEL, MY HEART IS BROKEN,YOU WERE SUCH A LOVELY PERSON, REST IN PEACE , I WILL MISS YOU
I am sorry that he did not get to do his final concert. I am sure it would have been great like all of his previous concerts because he would only do a concert if he knew for sure that it was going to be great–greater than all of his other concerts–because that is the kind of entertainer he was. I have been very happy to hear all of the love and respect bestowed upon him–let this and his talent be his legacy!!!
I love you Mr. Michael Jackson and to me you will always be the greatest entertainer to ever live. I grew up loving you. My son loves you and I respect the man you became. Different is right when you are different for the right reasons–I suspect yours was due to you being a genius. As you believed God gave you a special gift to share and you did for 40 of your 50 years–gifts not only as an entertainer but also as a humanitarian. “You will never be forgotten.”
he look great as always, missing you micheal!
the world has really lost a good humanitarian, an entertainer and a wonderful singer. May he rest in the eternal arms of the Lord knowing that your father welcomes you home. You will live on in our hearts. You left the world a better place knowing that you made a difference.
@robinred: you don’t need to look near death to suffer a sudden cardiac arrest. he was 50!!
mas triste! :(
michael will also be the best!
I grewup to Michael Jackson .I loved him as a child and as an adult ,he’s a legend . People need to know, everyone has problems .But he is and always will be the king of pop no matter how you try to belittle his name.He still is amazing!!!! I LOVE YOU Michael rest in peace.Your #1 fan
i’ll miss you mikey!!! i’m still tryna get down the moonwalk, so maybe one day soon i’ll get it right :)
This whole “Michael looks frail business” is nonsense. Michael always was super skinny and frail looking. I saw the “Beat it” video over the weekend. My gawd he was like an x ray dancing that’s how stick thin he was but he blazed throught those rehearsals and that video.
RIP
I hate all the vultures who are claiming to know stories and who think they speak for the family.
Yeah, I agree with #25. It seemed people stood by and watched him self destruct. It seemed people didn’t pay him the right attention. I felt he wanted to be liked and wanted to like and to love others. The media/tabloids kept bashing him. I hated that.
You just don’t get it there bucko! What that person meant was the greedy Joe Jackson and probably even some of his brothers or a sister or two. Joe is a coniver and is what destroyed young Michael’s life growing up with his abuse…both Michael and LaToya have publicly stated that. The whole family is messed up because their father was such an ass and beat them into submission when they were all so young and innocent and impressionable. So “Money Train” is just what they would all want to get on…I predict that they will take every single opportunity to rig up every sort of public appearance, performance by some of the other brothers/sisters and anything that they can dream up to keep the “Money Train” rolling on down the track for many years to come. Michael was their “Money Train” and none of his brothers and only one sister, Janet, have ever had any success in entertainment…although they have surely tried over the years. I feel Micheal was exploited at every opportunity and it drove him inside himself and made a very lonely and reclusive person out of him as he grew older. He was such a naturally talented young man in so many ways and I think it was horrendeous how so many people always wanted some piece of him and now that he has passed from this painful world, they are still trying to ride on his coat tails. Especially his family and probably more people than we have any idea of are also trying to make their mark to get a piece of his fame even in death. How awfully sad and disgraceful!!! It all just revolves around the word, GREED!!!!! At least he is in peace now and doesn’t have to endure anymore pain and loneliness and sorrow or anger.
I feel really sad about Michael also, but I don’t think these are his pictures of him rehearsing for his tour. I head he had really short hair now.. and remember he parted it in the middle.
Even when the paramedics came. He was a lot thinner and also his hair was parted and on that one show you could tell it was a wig he was wearing.
Love you Michael ….
I’m sorry for all that has happened to you
God Bless you and your children.. rest in piece
WE WILL MISS U MICHAEL JACKSON
@RIP michael:
I understand you, i just can’t stop crying, that hurts he was so familar to us we grew up listening his music, this is so unfair!!!!! why !
i wish this was all just a dream that the next day we woke up he’s still alive…but it can never happen.
i watch all of his videos and stuff, but i can’t help but cry seeing him how great he was and thought, this concert will prove people that he is and always be the king of pop…
this concert will be a blast. he’s a kind person, loving father to his three children and so gentle. i can’t believe that he’s gone already…
he left 200 unpublished songs to his children and some songs that he’s going to publish. he’s a great artist and true legend, a legend that we’ll never ever forget. he may have some bad image in the media but his goodness to others will live forever…
R.I.P michael, you’ll always and forever be our king of pop
I was so lucky to have seen him on the BAD, Dangerous and HiStory tour these concerts would have been the icing on the cake, I even jumped on his Limo in London and clinged on for 2 minutes back in 1992, I’m nearly 40 now and I am so proud to be a Michael Jackson fan but 5 days ago someone stole my childhood, something is missing in my life, it’s never going to be the same again
