Michael Jackson’s Final Rehearsal Pictures
Two days before suffering a cardiac arrest, Michael Jackson goes through a run-through during his final concert rehearsal at the Staples Center on Tuesday (June 23) in Los Angeles.
The 50-year-old entertainer was rehearsing for his planned shows in London. After going into cardiac arrest on June 25, Michael later died at the age of 50 at UCLA Medical Center.
This concert looks like it would have been amazing. We’ll miss you, Michael!
On Sunday night, Michael’s younger sister Janet Jackson paid tribute to the King of Pop at the 2009 BET Awards.

He looks happy but thin. I wish people would just let him rest in peace. We have lost a phenomenal star that will never be replaced. Justin Timberlake will never be micheal.
My heart breaks for his three kids. Man i wish he didnt have to die. I really feel so bad for him
Thank you Micheal for all what you have done, for making us happy, for bringing joy in our lifes, thank you for all the help that you gave to Africa, for all the money that you gave to the poor children around the world, you’re an angel, you’re so naive, honest and too kind for this cruel world and this cruel haters who wanted to destroy you.We love you Micheal don’t worry and we will always love you,
RIP angel !
I truly hope that Micheal can now be at peace. No more stress,pressure&esp no paparazzi!!!!!!!!! And no more people using him! He does look good but not fit enough for 50 concerts.
I love you always here or on haven rest in peace
Michael looks so wonderful and u can see the light and fire in his eyes. I see no fraility in him or death on him 1 bit. I like 2 think of him going out a glowing magnetic star just as he came in and everyone could obviously see by d time he was 5 years old. He looked like him old self. Right before he died, I had been on a couple of webpages saying I hope he gets his curls back because it did wonders for his face! I’m glad he went back 2 that before he died! But can someone please edit that big ass This is It behind him? It is just too snychronitic for me!
WE LOVE YOU MICHAEL!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!
YOU LOVED YOUR FANS SOOOO MUCH AND FOR THAT–WE LOVE YOU BACK 10 FOLD
YOU LOOKED SO HAPPY ON STAGE!!
He will be missed, I hope they turn Neverland into a memorial like graceland!
God bless you =)
irish girl @ 06/29/2009 at 3:58 pm He does NOT look good.
.
He looks emaciated and frail and certainly not in good enough health to launch a 50 show tour.
.
I wonder of the family will continue with the shows. Probably. Perhaps Janet will jump on board the money train… I mean remembrance tour.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I agree with that. I do not know how ANYONE could look at him and think he looked healthy. Even with the recent appearance of weight gain, he could not undo the effects of years of poor health.
It is a shame that he was not able to give his final show to the world, he was an icon and will never be forgotten by his music and his support to humanity
@Gigi: What’s tragic is the poor spelling, punctuation, grammar, and slaughtering of the English language (even with spell check); or is this just the caliber of intellect of the average fan of Mikey?
NOW MICHEAL YOU CAN NOW WALK IN THE MOON DOING THAT WONDERFUL MOOK WALK ALL THE WAY TO HEAVEN WITH THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE.GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR HUMAN SOUL FIND PEACE MY FRIEND YOU WILL LIVE ON FORVER.
Just wanna say True beauties are actually among ourselves,
__mill ion aire chats C om__hot and sincere young girls and handsome men there are much more attractive and charming!!!!
Mmmmh, does my man look sexy as hell on what? Hmm, such a shame he never got a change to even do one show! It’s sad that this was the last beautiful photos of hime before he left this world. He will always a place in my heart! Someday, we meet and I get a change to tell you how much you meant to me! Like a famous gospel song, I heard on day, this lyrics reminds me of him:”This world is not my home, I’m just a stranger passing throught…….”
My heart goes out to Michael’s family and his 3 children that he loved dso dearly. I can only hope that MJ will have the happiness after death that he was unable to find in his life here on earth. I have so many years of memories of seeing MJ coming up and making it so large. He will always live in his music.
I feel very worried about Michael’s 3 children being placed in a home with Joe Jackson. When Michael stated many times the abuse he endured at the hand of his father.. Where is Janet and LaToya when they were looking to someone to take custody of the children? Kathreen is 79 can those kids go through another loss in the near future?
Everyone says he got over it because he named his first son Michael Joseph Jackson.. While I’m sure that he actually named his on after himself not intending to give his father any respect in that aspect. Let’s all pray that the Angle of Heaven will be watching and protecting those children and let them grow up to be happy, healthy and normal children. I’m sure they will learn about their dads love for them along with his talents and greatness and his loving heart.
RIP Michael We will see you on the other side
Lets not forget that he lost his fortune settling multiple child molestation cases? Innocent people don’t settle - paying out multimillion dollar payoffs to make the charges and victims go away. Yes he left a profound impression on many…may the little boys that were victimized find peace and live normal lives.
Michael Jackson was a wonderful performer, the consummate entertainer and we all loved him. I remember watching ‘Thriller”, with friends and it was the first music video we had ever seen. We were amazed and in awe of this new medium. Loved his talent and vision. MJ, you are greatly missed.
@Concerned:
You only rely on what you see on the E! channel, don’t you??
You don’t know his life, nor were you close with him, so how would you know anything about Michael??? You can’t ignorantly believe everything you read in the press. He is remembered for his contributions to society. It’s his life, celebrated by the support of fans, new and old, throughout the world, that drowns out your small-minded opinion.
the sign behind him is kind of ironic, maybe it just wasnt meant to be. but i am greatly saddend. Im only 17 but he was a very inspirational icon to me, he had gone through so much in his life that it made me feel like i can overcome anything too. His death came as a shock and i still cant belive the king is gone. There will no one like him EVER! he was one of a kind. I believe that what made him a king is that, when one mentions his name they dont think about the child molestion charges, one remembers the great music he created and his infamous dance moves. non one replicated his 50 degree slant on the “smooth criminal” music video!!! or him dancing on top of the car! he was and forever will be the best in the music industry
R.I.P. MICHAEL JACKSON & FARRAH FAWCETT
I still cant blve that he is gone… I have always idolized Michael 4 his out of this word TALENT!! there will nvr be another KING OF POP like MICHAEL we will all miss you very much… & his family is in our prayers!! R.I.P Michael!!
@Gigi:
Please read it again.
It says June 23rd 2 days before he died.
@ concern-#93, it’s small,ignorant minds like yours that ruined Michael, didn’t any body ever tell you don’t believe every thing you read, stupid?, Michael explained which i completely agree, although in hinesight, maybe not, he felt hurt by this family who betrayed him, he just wanted it to go away, it was too much for him to swallow, he was a gentle soul, when he settle that first case, that opened up the flood gates for every money hungry person to come after him, but it was proven to be false.(NOT GUILTY) second time around, it happens every day, people always settle out of court because they don’t want to deal with the long drawn out procedures, the time, the humiliation, the money for lawyers, it was just easier to pay, but he was not guilty, most people know this, but haters will be haters.
He certainly does not look like “skin and bones” on these shots as falsely reported as usual. To his credit , before anyone popular for doing so today, Michael Jackson was going to Africa and bringing attention to the needs of the families there. In the late seventies and early eighties while Bono and U2 were still barely rocking, George Clooney was combing his mullet and Brad Pitt was still in Missouri and Angelina was in kindergarten, Michael was in Africa and writing songs to benefit poor people all over the world. He took his own hard earned money and gave it to these people and their causes. It is good these celebrities have kept up the work he championed decades ago.
He didn’t deserve to die!
He was a great man!!!!
