You can be as as talented as you wish, schools have talented unknown actors more talented than most famous actors are, Still they won’t be paid millions for a movie until they demonstrate their bankability. it’s the ability of draging money on your sole name that makes you bankable, hence a financially stable valuable force.

Your share value fluctuate around that ability in the movie financial market. Why should Kate Winslet be offered 20 millions + backhands per movie when those movies don’t even generate that amount of money as net value and after all costs paid eventhough she is oftenly the main character ?

Her actor/art value is very high, her financial one is very low and since it’s about who GENERATE MORE MONEY, it’s totally deserved that she is low ranked. She doesn’t bring the money in the house.

On the other hand Jolie has an actor value and a financial one in par. This because she is versatile and able to bring the art and the cash in the movies she is making on her sole name. That’s why a movie like Changeling with such a theme has made wordly 2 or 3 times more money than Kate’s same type of movies because Jolie’s name guarantee most of the time maximum financial return in each movie she is making comparing to the same movies done by other actresses.

The more high your return on interest is on movies you made comparing to movies of the same genre, the more you will be paid the deservdly part of the cash you have been able to bring in on your sole presence.

And Hollywood is business. They have tools to measure your influence on movie sales, how you pull the cash flow. They know better why they pay such actress X money while another one Y money.

Manny is lucky to pull in 3-5mil for her ****-fest rom-coms considering she is 40+.

Why is Maniston even on the list? It is a insult to real talents like Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet.
