Off the market!
Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers proposed to his girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa, this morning at her doorstep in New Jersey.
“She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row !”, Kevin told People. He continued, “It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world!”
Kevin, 21, and Danielle, 22, met in May of 2007 in the Bahamas while their families were vacationing.
Kevin’s parents also shared their joy, saying, “Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family’s celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.”
This leaves younger brothers, Joe, 19 and Nick, 16, to get engaged!

Congrats to them. She reminds me of Hilary Duff’s sister, Haylie Duff.
I got engaged at 21 (nearly 22), but we’ve had a long enagement and I’ll be nearly 24 before we have our wedding. It gave us plenty of time to finish school, find jobs, and plan the perfect wedding.
“Too Young” is for people who don’t understand what marriage is about. When you’re 16 you’re too young b/c you aren’t emotionally developed enough to make those decisions logically, but he’s 21 and it’s not just a physical thing. He’s old enough to know if she’s the one. Getting married doesn’t mean you have kids and act like old people right away. It means you promise to take the next step together. There’s no need to date around if you’ve found the one.

Oh, so does this dispel rumors of him being gay? Well, them being too young for Hollywood it is, but in reality, and many a folks in Jersey marry young…have kids, buy a large home, have more kids, invite friends over for barbeques, and have more kids, have affairs, then fight over a divorce, and the battle of the kids, and then…live the life of I was married to……and he wasn’t that great…I just married him for the money….All that aside… I Hope they really love each other…and congratulations to them both. What a surprise.
@favorite child: Nah, most likely she’s Italian with southern Italian roots whose melanin gives her the luxury of getting a deep dark tan.
