Michael Jackson’s Final Rehearsal — VIDEO
Here is the video of Michael Jackson having a run-through during his final concert rehearsal at the Staples Center on Tuesday (June 23) in Los Angeles.
AEG, promoter of Michael’s planned London shows, released the video of the 50-year-old entertainer rehearsing. After going into cardiac arrest on June 25, Michael later died at the age of 50 at UCLA Medical Center.

From my understanding, this video was taken 48 hours or less before his passing. In seeing this video I would have never thought he would have passed away less than a few days later of a cardiac arrest. It really is such a horrible and sad loss.

I loved Michael Jackson since a litle girl!!! When Thriller came out. . . And I was going to one of his concerts in London. I was looking forward to seeing him, but he was taken from us. . . Gone too soon.
He was a bridge for many, many generations. My grandparents know his songs and even my 5 year old niece.

I was skeptical about his future concert performances, too, but everyone’s right, the man still had the magic, in fact, it seemed like he captured a renewed part of himself and took his talent to another level of showmanship again. Michael Jackson was a one of a kind performer, one of the greatest music icons we shall ever know, and, most unfortunately, a tortured genius (as it almost seems to go with the territory bearing such a gift as he did). Everyone needs to separate their perception of the music genius Michael Jackson from the drug-addicted and trouble soul so the children can be saved from the ruin of the Jackson Family.
A drug-addicted entertainer does not a solid father make. Support the biological mother (Debbie Rowe) of the two eldest children gain custody of her flesh and blood. These children are entering a critical stage of their emotional and psychological development, i.e. puberty, and need to be rescued and placed under a safe umbrella to receive critical assistance from a team of psychotherapists and socialworkers to enable their more fully integrating into a normal domestic environment so as to mature into healthy adults. There is no way the dysfunctional grandparents and siblings can ensure these caucasian children doing so. Give the Jackson Family the money they have always lusted after and free the children to their educated biological Jewish mother for rearing the remainder of their childhood years and throughout college. They have been raised Jewish and there is no way you convert a Jewish child to that of the bizarre Jehovah’s Witness church. Get proactive on behalf of Debbie Rowe!!

When I was in secondary school, I remember how quick I was in doing my homework, since in our local TV the music channel always started playing videos, and I was eager every day to see any video of Michael Jackson… when I think about this, and now that my 7 years old girl is also listening to the music, I can only think that Michael is already a legend, his music is and will be a inspiration for many singers to come. Nobody can compare to him, his music, his moves, all the things -right or wrong- that he made, have contributed to his timeless fame! You left a legacy, and you always be remembered. God Bless you!

i have read and seen since michael’s death so many articles and footages and therefore my head is spinning.
i loved and i still love him. i can write a book on such knowlegde about him.right now they are many directions about him, his life, his music, his family. i hope everyone to understand each of them at the right way, because they are connected to each other and in the same time different.michael besides all was good in his heart.
i have seen the footage AEG realised and i enjoyed it.it is not the same michael i have seen over the years and i know about that, because i have seen 2 live concerts, one in 1992 and the other in 1996. between this 2, michael has changed.the cause:the process from 1993.
michael in the footage looks extremely skinny. i was shocked when i have seen the pictures before about this state.the only thing that helped him was his inner force that came from God. he stayed there and did all because of this force.great performer and very intuitive. he was always a step before the others. his mind was build to be the pioneer of music.but this has a price.to be the first in something it is a huge price to be paid.
right now he is loved more than he was in the last years.in all this time he was the same.but he achieved with his death more than he would with singing in the concerts to o2 arena. he touched the hearts of everybody.
our inner construction and sometimes the wrong perception make us to love more the unfinished matters, despite the ones with a definitive final.
i don’t know if he would have been capable to resist through all the 50 concerts, i think he couldn’t, but there are miracles.this the best this way.
i have seen an article that someone put it about his family and i was touched about theirs conditions.even it wasn’t the entire truth, i have seen the whole image before.his brothers didn’t have the energy and the geniality michael had.this is not their fault. things should be this way.but they wanted to stay in the business more than theirs tallents would alow them.and it is sad that you spent all your life to sing, and studdied and realised that you coudn’t do it more than enough or you liked it.
i was trained myself to see the truth and i hope everyone to see it.
michel was beyond borders and the biggest mistake of his life was not to love himself and understood that the pain is a bridge to cross over to the beautiful and none realy helped him to understand that there is no necessary to suffer over something more than a glimpse.
he stayed in this suffer for too long and he did the best of he could to realise himself from this pain.
but with pain he created, loved and raised his beautiful children.

I have watched this clip on the internet and seen it on TV many times… makes me cry because he was trying and yet looked a little frail.. but the spark and moves were there.. that little smile at the end is so tragic.. I just can’t believe he was 2 days away from dying when this was filmed. Such a terrible loss and those poor beautiful children. My heart is aching for his family and those children. He was a gifted, amazing performer and spirit, but also very troubled. He left us far too soon. I hope there are a few doctors who pay for this, he did not have to die, he was enabled by greedy, licensed drug-pushers.
Man, he looks pretty frail there, it’s too bad he was such a musical talent and pioneer for so many artists.

I don’t know what video you were watching but anybody could see that Micheal was sick and was not in any condition to do any shows let alone 50!!!
I felt sorry when I saw that video because he looked lost tired bewildered and not physically or mentally able to perform. If AEG released thise to prove he was in great shape it shows the complete opposite. I wanted to cry when I saw what he has been reduced to.
Even at the press conference in March 2009 announcing the beginning of a come back tour in 4 months!!! he was not in any shape and seemed to be on something.
AEG and the unethical doctors that allowed Micheal to distroy hisself they took a oath to do no harm and every one of the so called doctors that allowed Micheal to buy any medical procedure he wanted whether it was not in his best interest. I don’t know how you can sleep at night. The best comment I have heard is “That he did not have to die”
I just heard about the insurance policy, maybe AEG realized that Micheal was not going to be able to do any shows and figured they would not take a loss and helped Micheal die. A case of worth more dead than alive.

MJ was extremely talented and I will miss him. I feel so sad for his children. The girl playing guitar with his band is the same girl that played with Carrie Underwood’s band at this years grammys when Carrie sang “Last Name”. She is really good and is trying to establish herself here in Anerica.

It’s such a sad thing that has happened. I also feel sad for the choreographer, Kenny Ortega who was working with Michael Jackson for this tour. I’m sure he must be taking MJ’s death very hard, being that he’s been working with him and known him for a long time.
In the video, you can see that Michael Jackson preserved his energy for the stage…how sad we won’t get to see him perform live.

I was always a fan of his music I will miss him terribly, he is one of the biggest singers, of my time. i was about nine when thriller came out and for along time that’s all our music was and our music teachers would teach, about this amazing man, how true his talent was. I was sorry to hear he passed on may he rest in peace.

I love his smile at the end of the video. He died doing what he loved. We should all be so lucky to be doing what we love to the end.

The world has lost a legend, truly amazing, and something we will never, ever, ever see again. He was a wonderful person as well as performer, he was different (in a good way) i would rather be different then be boring. All the rumours about him are not true, never belive the press and the media, they say things to make people buy their papers ect. He touched all that met him, and i honestly cant think of one bad thing to say about him. He gave to those less fortunate and loved his fans and was a great dad. Michael Jackson will never be forgotton, and although he has gone, his music and spirit still lives on. My love goes out to his family, children and friends. RIP MJ x

In the wake of Michael Jackson’s death, questions still linger. Among many is the debate about Michael’s Vitiligo disease versus skin bleaching. (Undoctored) Pictures never lie, but often times, they can be misinterpreted. This hub contains a pictorial of Michael Jackson’s struggle with his skin.
To the right is a photo copyrighted by mjsfc.com that shows the advanced stages of the disease, as he filmed They Don’t Really Care About Us in Rio de Janeiro in 1995. This picture depicts splotches on Michael’s arm and his chest. Makeup or video touch up effectively covers these disfigurations in the actual video.
Next is a photo of teen Michael Jackson. You may notice the discoloration beneath his right eye. Michael was plagued by acne as most teenagers were. The next picture shows the left arm, freckled and white. The last picture shows Michael’s right hand and fingernails. The fingernails indicate that Michael wasn’t in good health.
Some have speculated that his fingernails are darker because he couldn’t bleach beneath his nails. This is a fallacy because black people, such as I am, have flesh, or whitish skin beneath their nails, on their palms and the bottoms of their feet. When I first noticed Michael’s nails, I was shocked to see odd coloring. I’m in the midst of researching theories and causes for his nail discoloration.
Michael Jackson’s close friend, who is also a doctor, Deepak Chopra, told people.com on June 27, 2009 that Jackson suffered from Lupus and Vitiligo. Michael had explained to Oprah in a 1993 interview that he wasn’t trying to be white. He said he didn’t bleach his skin, and he had a disease that came from this father’s side of the family. He didn’t name the disease, but he insisted to Oprah that he used makeup to cover the ever-present blotches.
Corroboration of Michael’s statement comes from his makeup artist of over twenty years, Karen Faye, who states in the video below that she used makeup to even out his skin. In the video, she said they used to match his color to brown until the white blotches overtook him, and it became an easier process to make the brown white.
