Tom Cruise: Birthday Boy Football
Tom Cruise celebrates his birthday with wife Katie Holmes by watching an AFL football game between Collingwood and Essendon in Melbourne, Australia on Friday (July 3).
During the game, the 47-year-old Born on the Fourth of July actor was joined by Memento’s Guy Pearce.
Tom is in Australia to support Katie, who is shooting a new movie, Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark with Guy and director Guillermo Del Toro. The movie is expected to be released in 2011.

I couldn’t agree more. Charity for Tom Cruise is giving $$$ to his cult which few people can afford anyway. Paying thousands and thousands of dollars to find out that our problems are caused by ‘thetans’–souls of dead aliens. That is hilarious and pathetic.
Katie looks half dead in these pics and not just because she’s obviously bored, either. Tom looks freakier than usual, too. Overall, not the greatest look for the pair.
they are watching a game,what look do you expect them to have. Nicole Kidman is the coldest looking woman on earth, who never had any chemistry with any leading man in a movie …..only repeating what movie critics have written about her, even her own husband in Eyes W ide Shut, a block of ice , who goes around showing photos of Sunday R ose to people(at a premier) never took and doesn’t take any interest in her adopted children .(lots of evidence of that around) , Classy ..? pleeeeeeeeeease.
There is nothing these 2 can do can convince me that they are happy together. Both look miserable and I’m sure Katie cannot wait to get out of her ‘contract’ with Tom.

I guess if he was one of teenage fathers he’d be… Anyway, I actually don’t believe in wide age gaps either but it’s none of our business to impose our opinions on anyone and judge people for who they fall in love with. There’s no possible way to know what Cruise is thinking or how he feels so don’t pretend to.

Im sure they both enjoyed their time at the football. AFL is the best game in the world, although the Hawthorn Hawks are better than Essendon and Collingwood, they won the Grand Final last year :) sure they are loving their time in Melbourne, its the best city in the world

Im in Melbourne anf this is THE BIGGEST RIVAL GAME OF THE YEAR!! I was so pleased to see them at my teams game (Essendon). And its its a bit more spesh as Colingwood was my dads team, he pased away when i was 6, so mum & i watch this together!

In that third picture, it’s clear that the brainwashing is wearing off. Katie, being out from under, Tom’s thumb (couldn’t resist), has experienced her neuro pathways trying to reconfigure and revert to, pre-Tom status. In picture five, it’s clear that Tom’s using his mental telepathy he learned from L. Ron Hubbard, to re-condition, Katie, as he pretends to watch the game. In picture seven, that slightly witless grin shows, she’s back under his control. In a monotone internal voice, Katie, replies to her overlord by telepathy, “yes, Tom. We are TRULY in love. And watching Austrailian rules football does makes you more manly… and taller.”

A sad couple - her “career” is shopping and dressing their daughter in expensive clothes (thanks for that Victoria B) and his ended quite a few years ago…he is very creepy I think.
