Tom Cruise: Birthday Boy Football
Tom Cruise celebrates his birthday with wife Katie Holmes by watching an AFL football game between Collingwood and Essendon in Melbourne, Australia on Friday (July 3).
During the game, the 47-year-old Born on the Fourth of July actor was joined by Memento’s Guy Pearce.
Tom is in Australia to support Katie, who is shooting a new movie, Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark with Guy and director Guillermo Del Toro. The movie is expected to be released in 2011.

Tommy deserves an Oscar-lol! Oh yeah, THAT’S going to happen. Sorry, they don’t give out Oscars to “actors” whose talents are limited to playing the same part in every movie.
Tommy boy is a has-been. Women in their 30’s and 40’s can’t stand him for what he said about PPD and Brooke Shields, and young women think he’s old and creepy. And poor Katie. She is unrecognizable from just a few years ago. Want to age 20 years overnight? Marry an insane cult member.
Give it five years. Tom will look like the ugly Scilon zombie he is inside. Hopefully, by then, Katie and Suri will have escaped this nutty cult.

I saw those pics, #158. He did spend some time on a private island owned by a plastic surgeon while promoting Valkyrie in Brazil. You’d think if he was covering up plastic surgery he’d be a little more conspicuous.
It has nothing to do with accepting and not accepting things. I follow Cruise enough to notice if he’s noticeably different and he isn’t.

So what do you have to say about that Parade poll where most of the votes were pro Cruise, were coming from the same 10 computers?????????? Come on, enlighten us with your wisdom. Glad to read that most Aussies are very hospitable - a few jealous ones but you get that in every country I suppose.
Mostly, I have read very good reports.
Good on you, Australia, not so judgmental and hateful as a lot of Americans who never seem to appreciate what they have. They seem to gripe most of the time.
What truly awful plastic surgery on tom. He looks dreadful these days. He’d have been better off not doing anything and aging gracefully. Now he looks gaunt and stretched. Yuck. Katie looks like an unhappy robot. And of course their kid looks unhappy as usual. What a little diva.
Have you ever thought that maybe Katie IS pregnant and maybe suffering from morning sickness or all day sickness like alot of mothers? The clothes she has been wearing, kind of suggest this, but IF she isn’t, the travel alone and making a movie, plus keeping up with Tom’s social engagements, are exhausting, I’m sure.
OR, maybe she just dosen’t feel the need to wear make-up to please any of us. Maybe she is comfortable with herself the way she is, and could care less what the media and critics think. I would not be showing alot of enthusiasm at a football game in the cold either. It is obvious,that this is the last place she would rather be. So why pick her apart over the these pictures, when we don’t know what is going on?
It is obvious Tom had a face lift. He’s got the classic, overdone face lift look. A little less lifting would have made it less obvious. I guess Tom is getting a little obsessive over the aging process and is turning to plastic surgeons for help
He also has lost so much weight that it makes him look at least 10 years older. He looks ridiculously like Suri’s grandfather. However, since Katie has aged about 15 years since they met, Katie and Tom look about the same age.
I hope Katie has learned her lesson and will say no to future sperminations with the turkey baster. They are both too old to have kids.
