Rupert Grint Contracts Swine Flu
Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise, has contracted swine flu, his publicist confirmed.
The 20-year-old British actor is still expected to join co-stars on the red carpet for the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on Tuesday.
“It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu,” his publicist said in a statement. “He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards.”

Awww…poor baby. It’s so weird that he got it. I thought it was something people only got in more tropical climates like Mexico, but thank goodness he’s better now. It’s a huge relief. We need our Rupert Grint!

Ain’t nothing to worry bout. most swine flu mild, thousands across uk have it and recover fine. this story ain’t news. Rupert and all others recover quickly and only a few have died, more coz of seroius health problems than the flu.
Maybe he should cast a spell to cure himself.

who, estimated that over 1 million americans have contracted it (only 28,000 people went to the doctor and got tested)
which means over 900,000 people got it and are recovering)
the death rate was also extremly low, about 147 people have died soo far.

Why would he announce this? Bizarre. I don’t think I would tell anyone if it happened to me. The health organization needs to rethink the names for these ‘outbreaks.’ Swine flu is hardly a medically legitimate name that denotes what could be a global pandemic (not that I am in any way worried about this).
