Michael Jackson Memorial Service Participants Revealed
The Jackson family today announced the participants for the Michael Jackson memorial for Tuesday (July 7) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The family’s rep revealed the list to JustJared.com: Ron Boyd (family friend); Kobe Bryant; Mariah Carey; Andrae Crouch Choir; Berry Gordy; Jennifer Hudson; Shaheen Jafargholi (finalist on Britain’s Got Talent); Magic Johnson; Martin Luther King III; Bernice A. King; John Mayer; Lionel Richie; Smokey Robinson; Rev. Al Sharpton; Brooke Shields (pictured here); Pastor Lucious Smith (family friend); Usher; and Stevie Wonder.

I’m shocked at how this is not a funeral but a public “event” ……I know when your name is MICHAEL JACKSON you get the best, but…..I don’t know, it amazes me. That said, I don’t want it to be too sad. I think death is just a path we all have to go through LOL. Why be sad? Why be scared? I never got it why some fear death. It’s not like some can avoid it haha. I’m not saying we’ll have to sing and dance tomorrow but …yeah, just feel happy that he is respected forever and will always be missed and well, a LEGEND. You know, it’s not like that for everybody…..I would have loved to be loved by so many people and have my funeral on every channels on tv XD
MJ wanted it to be a show. I guess if it’s what he wanted…

On abcnews.com, they are saying that MJ will be buried at 8am Pacific Time at LA Forest Lawn Cemetery, There will probably be a throng of fans that will show up at his gravesite. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a psychotic fan that tries to dig him up if there is no security there.
I hope Brooke Shields doesn’t want to sell stuff while she is there.

I’d like to see Chris Brown, he’s the only young guy who could do it justice. Have you seen the ” Wall to Wall ” video ? and his 2007 vma performance ? The boy was showing respect to MJ !!! Damn he can move his legs !!!
Of course we all know what he did, but now he has to deal with it…, and he is human like we are, so who are we to judge…he should be able to perform in memory of his idol and inspiration.

Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Ross will surely be at the private ceremony. I would think they have no desire to entertain Michaels fans in a public memorial. Looks like a list that Al Sharpton has put together - Michael had many many very close white friends, but, somehow the best they could do was Brooke Shields and ?????John Mayer????? come on.
