OlderRobert Pattinson Remembers Regis High School
Robert Pattinson shoots scenes for his new movie, Remember Me, outside Regis High School on the Upper East Side of New York City on Monday morning (July 6).
The 20-year-old British actor is reportedly homesick. “Robert is dying to get back home,” an insider tells NYDN. “He’s so over everything. He’s overwhelmed by all the girls — they terrify him! He says girls grab his neck and clothing all of the time, and he’s not used to that. Fans don’t do that to him in London. Everyone there is a little cooler about the fame thing, which is what he’s used to.”
The source continues, “He’s embarrassed by the way girls throw themselves at him. The girls here are stalking him. He stayed in two different hotels over the course of four days just to try to escape the fans who were following him. He’s afraid that if he gives a hand, they’ll take the whole arm. He’s being advised by security not to encourage the crowd, so he doesn’t even look up anymore.”

he is not 20 years old.
I feel so bad for him! If people really ‘love’ him then they would not stalk his every move and follow him all around NYC. He’s not Edward Cullen; he’s Rob Pattinson. He’s completely different than his character yet, girls seem to have connected the two together. I feel so bad for him and at this moment I’d rather he stopped filming the Twilight series than continue this insanity. He’s just a guy, a regular guy doing his job. Unfortunatly, his job has been harder to do these couple of days because of the screaming girls.
I’ll admit, I’m a huge fan of his. But I like him so much I hate to here this and rather Twilight (book or movie) was never released so he wouldn’t have to suffer this.

yahh in england we arnt all grabby grabby, we form patient lines and if u like my friend hannah u ask for a hug and an autograph, btw he is 23 not 20, if he were 20 i wouldnt feel so bad about the 6 yr age difference , coz we’d only have 4 ish yrs between us then
I really wonder why fans act like this.. Isn’t just enough just to smile to him on the way?? I haven’t seen such worship in Europe..
Poor guy.. Hopefully all Twilights will be out soon and he can breathe again..

but if he is home sick then yeah, come home rob! :)
but yet again he’d have to leave again anyway because of the 3rd series of twilight to be filmed.
im sure he’ll be okay for a few more weeks or so. :D

that sucks i mean if your a fan and truely “love”him then why would u make him go through all that? people see him on the sets…some people dont even get to do that so cant yoou just be happy you got that much? that really sucks becuase you can tell by interviews he is a reserved person he says it himself he not use to the screaming of fans and stuff and yet fans arent really getting that. he is a normal person too you know? i mean it one thing to go up to someone and be civilized and ask for an autograph and another thing to grab on to the person and never let go. lol
I feel so bad for him, American people can be so crazy sometimes. I’m from Belgium and you can see Twilight is popular here, but the people here would never act that crazy. I’m a fan of Rob, but as a fan you should be smarter than to attack him. I really hope he can go back to London soon!

dont blame him for being homesick either..when he can be at home and live a some what normal life with london ppl not all over him why would he want to stand this
i think people see a movie and assume that the actor is just like that…i think people are more in love with edward…the character he plays then rob pattinson himself…if you think bout it..fans dont truely know rob they mostly know edward cullen. if that makes sense. think ppl need to give him a break….rather have him making movies then giving it all up becuase of fans you know
