Harry Potter Covers Entertainment Weekly

This week’s Entertainment Weekly features the highly anticipated Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the film adapted from the sixth novel in J.K. Rowling’s seven-volume series, and speaks with the stars about Twilight, tossing their Hogwarts uniforms, and their careers.

Daniel Radcliffe knows exactly what he wants to do post-Harry. “I have come to the conclusion that I am never happier than when I am on a film set,” he says. “This is what I want to be doing. Totally. Absolutely. Unequivocally!”

For Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, their hardest scene was a kiss between their characters Ron and Hermione that shapes their destiny. “I remember being inches away from her lips and thinking, ‘Good lord, this is going to be strange,’” says Rupert. Adds Emma: “Rupert is like a brother to me, and our relationship couldn’t be more platonic. So kissing him – well, it felt like incest, to be honest. But I think it’s going to be very sweet.”

im not sure if im gonna watch this movie yet since i wasnt 2 impressed with the last 2 movies

Yeah, not my favorite cover….also isn’t Dan, like, the LEAD? Why is he in the back?

@black: Sorry, but Dan is definitely a better actor than Rupert, as I think Equus amply proves for instance. Rupert does comedy decently–pulling his all-purpose funny face, but not much drama.

@debra: I have to disagree about Rupert’s portrayal of Ron being perfect and just like the books, I feel that he is very different–much whinier and more cowardly and pure “comic relief”, but it’s hard to tell how much of that is Rupert (always pulling the same all-purpose funny face for whatever situation) or the script/directors…

i lovee rupert!! & emma! cant wait to see that kiss..hmm ill have to wait a long time..but thankfully theres only 1 week left till half blood prince is in theaters

yes. i can’t wait to read it. I love how all three of them are on the same cover! it’s usually just Dan or Just Emma or Just Rupert. this is sooo cute!

Have you NOt seen the trailers or the 90% rating on Rotten tomatoes?! This movie is going to be AWESOME! I’m seeing it at midnight! I’ve already got my tickets. I’m the biggest HP fan and I know it’s going to be great!

Anybody see Dan last night on Letterman. I thought he seemed very very tense. Not nervous, just tense and he spoke so fast. Do you think he was “on something?”
