Katie Holmes: Buddies with Bailee Madison!
Katie Holmes hangs out with her Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark co-star, Bailee Madison on the set of their new film in Melbourne, Australia on Friday (July 10).
Bailee, 9, is most famous for her role in the 2007 film, Bridge to Terabithia, where she plays the younger sister of Jesse Aaron, May Belle Aarons.
Looks like Katie and Bailee are having a good time talking and filming together!

NUMBER # 4. How in the world does the second picture of Katie look like ” Porky Pig “? Aren’t we just reaching for some complaint here? Katie is looking face on at the camera with the wind blowing her hair back, and eye’s are squinting. Most of us would not look terribly flattering at that angle. I’m sure she comes to the set without make-up, so the set make-up artist can get right to work. Alot of actress’s do that.
It dosen’t make sense to wear any for a short period, just to please the public, only to have someone take time to scrub it off. I’m sure they do her hair also, and she dosen’t wear a pony-tail in the movie.

Bailee is the cutest little thing ever! She came into my work for lunch and started talking to me about how she was supposed to meet katie to see how well they would work together after lunch. She’s really smart for her age and seemed more mature than the woman, i assumed was her momager. She was so sweet.

Thanks jared but too much pics is not good. I love Katie and her photos make my day but not on the movie set because I like to be surprise on the film. Its like that Garner movie and Jolie’s Salt the plot and scenes are given away. Im just happy its a closed set so maybe the paps will just get the parking lot pics and nothing more.

You all, I don’t know why I dislike Katie so much, but she has got to be the most boring of all the d list actresses out there. She is only an A lister because of her marriage to Tom.
*She has no fashion sense
*She apparently doesn’t think it necessary to appear in public clean (clean clothes and bathed) at times
*She takes advantage of Tom’s A list status to score parts that should go to more deserving actresses
*She switches to Scientology with apparently no problem, no thought, no discussion just because of Tom
*She has no clue how to parent
*She appears, based on her interviews, to be amazingly vapid, stupid, dumb, etc
*She is taking advantage of her connections by designing the most god awful clothing line that most of the public dislikes (based on poll results from InStyle, People, etc)
*She doesn’t appear to be well liked by anyone who has met her that is not “someone.”
*She shows such arrogance–always has a body guard next to her. Even Tom, Brad, and Angie don’t have one glued to their sides.
*She always is caring her iPhone whether she is with Suri, walking etc. and is texting, talking etc.
*She is at best an average dancer
*She can’t design clothing
*She is at best a below average actress on both stage and screen
*She is snooty to people she works with (based on comments of people who have worked with her)
So why do people like this no talent, mean, vapid person?

I’m sorry but I disagree (respectfully so). I’ve seen several of her movies and she is average at best. Saw All My Sons and her stilted performance ruined it for me. She was so obviously out of her league with her acting skills.
She is an average actress. I’m not sure she has the potential to be more than average. I do know I no longer see her in anything after her truly awful performance in Batman. Holmes fans criticized Maggie G mostly on her looks–but at least she could act.
And these A list actresses (for talent and or earnings) have not screwed every guy they have met nor are they tatooed, yet they are considered some of our best actresses because they have talent (which Katie has only a minimal amount): Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchet, Kate Winslet, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston, Helen Mirren, Natalie Portman, Emma Watson, and more.
So your thinly veiled slam at AJ is unwarrented when it comes to why Katie isn’t recognized as a top actress. Maybe it is become her skill and talents aren’t in the same league with the other actresses mentioned.

I don’t care for Katie Holmes, but one of the writers del Toro is top notch. The director Troy Nixey doesn’t have much experience. And this is a remake of a classic horror picture. Personally I don’t think Katie has the skill or talent to do well in this. Sounds like she is trying to top Kidman in The Others! Not to mention Tommy Girl is probably trying to win over Australian fans of Kidman. Whole thing sounds very suspect to me in terms of Katie getting this part. Nothing she has done in the past shows she has the ability to act her heart out and be good in this film. Should be interesting to see if she is able to stretch her limited abilities into the part .

I’m sure whomever brought Bailee to the set, has thought it all out before hand, and has read everything about Katie. I don’t think Katie would be ” dangerous ” on a set with her mother there and a manager. What would she do? Katie has worked with alot of people in the past, and we have never heard of a serious ” dangerous accident or incident ” concerning Scientology.
