As for the divorce, give it a break, people DO get divorced; having 8 kids doesn’t make it worse. When you’re DONE with a spouse, you’re DONE, she apparently didn’t want to listen to anything he had to say until it was too late and he shut her out. Life goes on. man. you don’t even have to be a divorcee with kids or the kids of divorced parents to know when sh*t like this happens when you’re really young that kid’s cant help but compartamentalize these things and also internalize their feelings over the situation. i’m not saying every divorce with kids leads to messed up kids…but it is a wonder really why kids who go through things like this always have such a hard time growing up and then becoming adults and then reperpetuating their childhood emotions to their future relationships. seriously. kate gosselin may be a b8tch but jon gosselin is no innocent either. she’s only one half of the story and he’s the other half. it’s fine if he’s moving on from the relationship, but man maybe there were other young girls before the nanny, and now this other family friend. it’s a slap in the face to anyone, any decent human being would see this.

I never watched this show. But from what I understand their marriage was unhealthy and they displayed poor behavior in front of their children by sniping at each other? That is very sad. It’s sad when marriages end, but sometimes staying together doesn’t necessarily provide a postive environment either. Lets hope seperately they can be healthier people and better parents than they were while married. The key is a postive environment for the kids and getting along as co-parents.
