Tony Romo Dumps Jessica Simpson
Tony Romo pulled the plug on his relationship with Jessica Simpson on Thursday (July 9), the night before her 29th birthday.
Harsh!
“She is heartbroken,” a source tells People. “She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways.”
She was supposed to celebrate her birthday with a Ken and Barbie-themed party. “She canceled her party because of this,” another source tells Us Weekly. “She’s doing OK.”
WHO DO YOU THINK Jessica Simpson should date next???

lol. lainey has the best write up about this, because i thought the same thing before i saw the breakup news. i kept thinking will this lead to more fashion disastors…so i will be waiting. lol jared with the who do you think she should date next. she needs to lay off the love train or something and focus on herself a little bit. although that looks like bad advice since i am sure she is probably all about herself already, but she’s one of those females who needs to be in a relationship all the time, and always loses herself. she needs to fix herself and get her life straight before doing the whole i love this dude thing. jeez yessica. lol.
I feel bad for her. While she may not be the brightest candle on the cake, she does seem quite sweet.
The truth is Tony got wind via Joe that Jessica was expecting a proposal at the party, in front of all the guest, with a hired photographer there to sell the pics. When Tony told Joe there was no way he was doing that, Joe told Tony he needed to tell Jessica it was over then. So he did.
Jessica: He’s just wasn’t that into you. Take a break, tone your look down and be honest about what you want. Take a walk away from your family and see what YOU need. Maybe it’s time for some self reflection and counseling.
well Nick Lachey’s free again.. isn;t that kind of a ritual in hollywood ur ex is free get back together.. hasn’t Jessica realized that maybe there’s something wrong with her if this so called relationships don’t work out
I’m not a huge fan of hers but I feel bad for her. Maybe she should of stayed with Nick.

Poor Jessica, as if having The Backstreet Boys lie to your father and the world about you and your career is enough. Now he dumps you, too. I hope she is happy and all of that through. I did tell the truth and I did leave Sandra Mcnanny’s, The Backstreet Boys’s, Wright Entertainment’s, and US Senate’s contracting deals over me since I never got to choose my own atteroney and since the mayor of Columbus, Hilliard, couldn’t be bothered to look for proof and rushed through an illegal order to charge me with crimes I didn’t do.
I thought I was going to be original and say her and Nick could get back together! Neither of their careers went anywhere after they broke up, so at least 4 money’s sake they should try it again. I was going to say that Nick probably has no ego that she is bigger than him, and that Jessica has grown up, but a Barbie and Ken party?! No wonder Romo left her. He’s a grown ass man, and this is her 29 Bday! Grow d hell up. Nobody, esp. not at least a straight man, even for his girlfriend, wants 2 be a F*ckin’ plastic doll. Hey 61! I so agree with u. After breakups some peep are either so desperate to be apart of something, or even get pressure from fam. and friends to move on quickly to show him that u don’t care. She should ignore them and learn what she likes and seek a change not based on her man or career but fulfills her. I hate to see girls with no sense of self or hobbies or still hanging on to their 12 year old ideals of what kind of “Prince Valient” they want. No man is a perfect catch either more than a girl is some Princess in waiting.
New beginnings…Happy Birthday, Jessica!!! Unless you have a contract with Mattel, let go of the “Barbie” & Ken life theme as you are and can be much more and so can Nick Lachey. This is the perfect opportunity for the two of you to rethink your early relationship, go through counseling, and share a beautiful family together.

If Vanessa is a golddigger, it has nothing to do with her being Filipino. Get your words straight and get over yourself. … and Jessica’s track record with men, she has been linked to only a few men in her career… It seems normal to me that a girl gets in a relationship and it doesn’t work out and they break up… too bad her problems are in the public eye. Break-ups happen all the time. Geez.

Well, another DUMPEE. What can we call this one. DUMPEE #2. ? Well, Tony finally coudn’t take it anymore. Just like a certain HANDSOME man , 5 years ago.. I just hope that Jessics handles the BREAK-UP, with dignity unlike a certain talentless actress that we all know. Jessica, you a very young person, please do not become , WHINY, CLINGY AND DOWNRIGHT MEAN, you have a great future ahead of you. Enjoy your life. Somebody better than Tony will come along. SAD…Sad…Sad…..I can only speak as a father of a young girl, who I hope will grow up to find a “solid” relationship with a man in the future…
Regardless of her “fame”, this young woman “Jessica Simpson” is still some dad’s daughter, who is growing up…and looking like most men, and women, for a partner who can share her life, and bring her happiness…
As a father, (not just a guy) my hope is that she will find that relationship….
Of course, I do feel that buiding a relationship is hard enough in “private”, and that being in the “public eye”, she will , along with any person she dates, have a harder time to just enjoy the “special, private moments” that a couple shares, as they grow in a relationship.
Let’s hope the young women, who follow her as a “celebrity” can learn that ….they should chose a man who shares “values” and has the same “shared faith” in goals for the future as a family…And then, the relationship should be progressing towards a stronger commitment from both parties, towards eachother.
What I think is sad…is when men…”string along” a young woman, for several years, and then, “break up”. If you aren’t in love with her, please respect her enough…to let her go after 1.5 years- 2 years, because you must understand that a woman who wants healthy children, has to keep in mind, what age she will chose to start a family with her partner. (I know people will say that it is not right, to consider a woman’s age, but, unfortunately biology says that healthy children are more likely to be born to mom’s under 35)
So, I hope this young woman, Jessica, will with walk with faith, and hope that someone special will enter your life again, when you are ready….Good luck!

Tony is the classic Heart Breaker. But for some reason, I cannot hate him because he was in a relationship with someone that he no longer wanted to be with. It just show everyone that no matter how beautiful you are- if you have a defect in your personality it can turn anyone off. Jessica is beautiful, and I am sure there are men out there calling Tony ‘gay” and stuff for dumping her. But what people need to understand is that the don’t know Jessica personally. While men only dream about being with Jessica, Tony actually was with her. So he got a first hand view of who is really is, and appearently he didn’t like what he saw. Blonds with big boobs are a dime a dozen, but without a true connection, no relationship will last.
